- Google has reported the barrier to Gmail and many other work space services.
- The troubles were seen a little an hour ago, just before the 11a PT.
- Google companies are also dealing with their own contact issues.
Update, June 12, 2025 (03:34 pm et): Just a minute after literally publishing our report, Google has updated to share its status dashboard that the problems are less and more fixed.
The company says everything except Google Met should be fully operational once again, and engineers are currently trying to set it up.
The original article, June 12, 2025 (03:29 pm et): Have you spent the past 10 minutes trying to find out what is wrong with your internet connection? The conversation is not completely loading? Sites are working slowly or just refusing to respond? You are not alone.
We are currently seen in the middle of a major service interruption that not only affects Google, but also a whole of sites throughout the Internet.
Google reported its status dashboard that it became aware of a problem an hour ago, which affects the majority of the workplace services. The company especially points to Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Cloud Search, Google Documents, Google Drive, Google Matt, Google Tasks, and Google Voice.
We have personally witnessed the end of the incident in some of them. In Google Voice on the web, the conversation stopped syncing with mobile devices. And when trying to check a location in the maps on the street view, the imagery was slow to load and eventually give navigation irresponsibility. Even Gemini can be targeted, as we saw that when AI Chatboat presented with a question, only its gears are rotating, in fact they never respond.
On the downloader, everything is accelerating from Spatif to Tweche, which suggests that we are looking at some kind of spinal cord contact failure that is otherwise affecting irrelevant companies – or it can only talk about how many Google services are relying on.
We are monitoring this developing situation and we will update anything with anything learning.
