About a year ago, after years of enjoying the platform – I decided to go away from Spatifs – and try Apple Music. But if you are like me and have been using Apple music for a while, you may have made a list of calm problems. Meanwhile, Spatifs and YouTube music mixed things (intended) with fresh features and more personal experience. But with iOS 26, it is finally changing.
Apple’s music app has been receiving its most meaningful update over the years. It’s not just about catching, it is about to hear more personal, more fluid and more fun, and I’m here for it!
Apple’s most intelligent move: Small changes that make a big difference
At first glance, the features such as your favorite playlists, albums, or artists in the upper part of your library tab may seem minor. But the effect is quick. Now you can quickly come back to the music that you hear about every day, without scroll, search, or recently played (as I have).

I can already tell that I will spend more time in the library tab. For example, I have three running playlists, which I will now be able to keep them in front and center. I also faced frustration when I lost or forget about a new album or artist I got, but now this feature eventually gives me control over my collection in such a way that Apple Music was never allowed.

Then there is a translation and pronunciation of lyrics. I always like to listen to music in different languages - even when I don’t know what is being said. This is part of magic for me. But now, with real time translation, I can dig a deeply when I really catch me. He said, I don’t always want to know the meaning. Sometimes I find it better to leave things openly, so I will appreciate a painting and let my imagination fill the spaces.

As far as the accent feature is concerned – I’m using it exactly! I have never been very good at remembering the tune, and it feels like a perfect fraud code. This reminds me of the interview of old mobile phones with which I grow up, where on -screen melodies made it easy to sing, even if I don’t know the language. Now I have to make the same feeling in today’s music, and maybe remember the words this time.

My switch from Spatif to Apple Music did not move through any killer feature – at that time, it was more about the conditions and curiosity. Some friends set up a family account on Apple Music, which made this subscription more cheap. And honestly, after years of use of spatifs, I just wanted to change speed. And Spatif’s “Go to Radio” recommended painfully. I will play a song, which I like, hit the radio, and ends in a completely irrelevant gender rabbit hole that did not reflect my taste. Spotif DJ was still solid, but beyond it, the magic was slightly erased.
So I gave Apple Music a shot, and iOS 26Automix is the first feature that I really felt like I didn’t go down. This causes a lack of songs between my Mac and iPhone (Apple, what’s the matter?!?!).
Automix uses Apple Intelligence for transfer of songs like a real DJ, draws the tempo to match the beating and continue the flow. This is not just a basic cross -feed, such as spotifies. The transfer looked like organic, even beautiful. The DJ has long been using such a feature on its mixers, though because of what I understand is somewhat offensive – but for personal enjoyment? Oh yes, sign me up!
This is not something I knew about I needed. But now that I know it’s coming, it has excited me with the use of Apple music.

Another Latif Eye Candy Update is a full -screen dynamic album art on the lock screen. A single tap expands the current track artwork, and turns your phone into a living canvas. This is a feature that was already available in the Apple Music app, but I’m glad it will now be seen on my lock screen. Of course, a small touch, but it connects Apple’s wider liquid glass design, which makes the entire interface feel more layered and felt.

Many of these features look like they are arriving late. Pinking music is such a basic feature that it feels crazy. We didn’t have it yet. Real -time laerric translations are also very important for streaming music. Even automatic, while smart, enters space spots and YouTube music has already been discovered.
It is appropriate to ask why the flagship service in one of the world’s largest ecosystem, Apple Music did not find this tool before.
Obviously, we didn’t have to wait until 2025 to achieve these features, but Apple is trying her best to turn everyone away from the fact that it’s just going through a difficult place. The company is being criticized for being behind the competition, especially after the maximum act on AI last year and after under -delivering (also known as lying).
Nevertheless, not too late before, especially when the result is polished.
It’s nice to see Apple’s music finally wrap up. Let’s just hope that it doesn’t take three more years to get smart shifs, which the company was not one of the new hikes revealed in the WWDC.
