Remember Apple’s vision Pro? The company, launched in the early 2024, is the headset of 4,499 mixed reality that failed to gain the public interest. Apple has moved forward with platform updates over the past one year, and will soon upgrade a new version: Visionos 26. (Apple announced that in the WWDC it changed its style of naming its operating system next year.)
I had the opportunity to try some new abilities, but more than two others got stuck with me. The first person is upgraded. This is a local avatar that creates a headset onboard camera based on your example. (You have to identify the headset on your head and go through a setup process to make a personality.) Last year, when I was wearing a vision pro wearing zoom meetings first. My personality was hard, my hair seemed to be blurred – it just visible Bad.
Apple has improved the look and feel of these 3D digital representations significantly better than ever, which has a more natural and realistic design. Even you can see the whole sight of the head. Hair texture is better, as is the skin color. I had arranged my own person without wearing glasses, but like my original frames, almost STY was able to add virtual glasses in the same manner, and they did not clip or roam. (I recorded a little greeting through the third party app, which you can see below.)
Don’t think me wrong, there is still some extraordinary valley running here. Facial expressions and eye movements are severe – but it is good and better than what was debuted on Vision Pro last year. You can use these individuals for video calls or when someone adds your virtual space away.
The operating system updates is the other notable new feature wage. You can place a widget around your home, such as watch, calendar, or music widgets, and they will always be in one place. Apple makes this trick by making your home map, which is privately safe on your AVP device. The headset will remember the vegetable locations even when you re -boot it and look back again.
I went from one room to another wearing a vision pro -headset and saw that the wage galloore was placed around the room. The space -living widget list includes a digital photo frame that works like a window in your virtual space. You can see more pictures when you get closer to it.
This is a clear idea – every time you put on your headset, you can reach your own virtual calendars, watches, music playback widgets, and more, as well as to the office of virtual residential place or pin apps at specific places of the room. You could pin safari into your home office, then walk in your bedroom and pin Apple TV. Your entire virtual space may be ready to be like your physical home.
The strange thing is that Apple wants to make you feel headset and revolve around the house, interact with a local widget and talk to people with a digitized version of your face.
When Vision Pro first debuted, Apple was mocked to add a father’s clip with a headset when his two children played in front of him. Whenever I wore a headset, my wife hated her. But Apple hasn’t changed its stand – it wants you to be in vision, whether you look like Wade Watts Ready Player One.
