Apple’s developer conference, WWDC 2025, started on PT at 10 am on Monday. In its last two incidents of the WWDC, Apple launched itself in new areas, and jumped into both AR/VR and Generative AI. The company is under pressure to match, if not, what has happened in the past. CNET has editors and authors who personally share to report directly about the progress of the WWDC 2025 when they break.
In 2023 was Vision Pro, and then Apple Intelligence in 2024. What is the big announcement coming in 2025? OS Year by Year: Will it be iOS 26?
Recent reports by Bloomberg’s most accurate Mark Gourmet states that Apple has been using the current number of OS Convention for years and has been running with another approach to naming instead: Labeling the annual OS annually. Instead of iOS 19, we will have iOS 26 and iPados 26, and Macos 26, and Wachos 26, TVOS 26, Visionos 26.
