- A new feature of Pixel Watch has been seen
- If your watch is disconnected it will auto lock your phone
- We do not believe when the feature can be launched
The latest Pixel Watch app for Android has seen the code shows that there is a new feature on the way to Google Pixel Watch 3 and older models: the ability to automatically lock your phone when your smart watch is out of the boundary.
This code team was found in the Android Authority, and while it has not yet been implemented – and there is no word yet when it can be – if you add a pixel watch with an Android smartphone, its feature will be a useful upgrade of security.
The idea is that if someone swipes your phone without you, or if you should leave your handset without realizing it, you will be assured that your phone will be locked automatically.

This is not something that is currently offered to wear – including Apple’s best watches – even though you are definitely looking for My Device Service from Google Google.
Without the official announcement about this feature, it is difficult to predict when we can see when it ends. The recent Google I/O 2025 conference was said, but Google develops software updates all year long.
Exterior. , Once this feature is flowing for Pixel Watch Devices, it can then be pushed into the code for the OS wear. Subsequently, Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra will also be able to wear it.
Use what you can do with your pixel watch already to unlock your smartphone: so if the clock is near, you don’t need to open your phone. This will be a useful additional function to increase this, once it will eventually end.
