He hit me when I was standing in the grocery store with my phone. I no longer use note -taking apps. My shopping list was sitting in a permanent chat with a chat, where he created it for me after helping me plan his family meal a week. He even made my daughter’s favorite yogurt.

It was not once. I slowly began to use Chat GPT as a productive tool for every part of my personal life.

It started when I was tired of awakening a number of apps for notes, lists and reminders. I just didn’t want to bounce between half a dozen apps to perform the goods. Chat GPT, as it turns out, is slowly turning to my super app, and I’m not sure designed for it.

Will you use Chat GPT to handle your daily life?

The use of my AI is a little unconventional

    Nathan Dreasher / Android Authority

My day starts with the check. I open a permanent chat that I call “today”. It’s like my main center. I need to remember my day -to -day tasks, set priorities and work. If I tell me what time I have to do, it is great for me to arrange my schedule. I would tell him that he would help organize things immediately, and it handles it all for me. When something new comes out, I just type it. No form fields, no UI disorder.

I have a rolling list of sensitive items throughout the day. I need to remember the Remember to check it out because Chat GPT does not have push notifications, but less friction input means that I do not forget to capture things, so it ends.

Purchase and food plans are directly in another chat. The grocery list is updated throughout the week. It is easy to plan food and then make the Chat GPT a purchase list, organized by the grocery store section. I can input the input that I have in my hand and will find some suggestions for eating quickly. When I buy something, I easily tell it, and AI automatically removes the item from the list.

This is how all parts of my personal life are managed. Work, baby, health. They are worth searching, and the chatigpt is great to recover the information with a single command. More than that I have tested for many productive tools I have tested.

    It works better than that

I am not sure that this is what Sam Altman and the Open team kept in mind for Chat GPT. And I was not ready to use it. In fact, I have never received a lot of use for it before. I never liked the AI-race slope, whether writing or visual. As a journalist and author, I have been a kind of opponent from the AI. But then I started using it for web searches, and these recipes, and the budget got ready, and then I learned that it could take the note, and, well, it was just like this.

Chat GPT is present everywhere. It is always synchronized. If something was saved, I don’t have to worry. I don’t need to remember what app I saved. It’s all in one place. There is no UI for learning or settings to tweet. I just type what I need and it works.

The form of a permanent chat is powerful because he remembers what I had told earlier, and it keeps the context better than any stand tool. Notes and lists can be easily updated. I can even change the priorities to the mid -thread, and Chat GPT lifted it without defeat. Most importantly, it reduces the mental overhead. Everything is centralized and is handled by a reasonably smart thing than many people.

It’s not all roses and sunshine

    Nathan Dreasher / Android Authority

Everyone said, Chat GPT is not perfect. The lack of push information is a real pain point that has to learn to work around. Unlike a dedicated reminder app, which can inform me on my phone, laptop, and watch, I need to manually open the chat GPT and it needs to show me my next reminder. It can send me an email for every reminder, which can then move my device forward, but it’s a great job.

There is no integration with calendars or emails. It cannot handle repeated tasks or automatic workflows. If I forget what I have made or what I have prepared in a job, there is no way to withdraw it. There is no visual structure here too. No cabin boards, no drag and drop timelines. This means that I need very strict self -discipline to use as my other brain.

Finally, it is not made for mutual cooperation. That’s why I don’t use it for work. It is useless when working with a team or editors, but personal life management, it is amazingly effective.

    Unintentional productive app for me

Chat GPT is not a production app. Maybe that’s why it works so well for me. This is the conversation, always available, and without my sometimes a crazy day, I force me to follow the hard system thought by someone else.

It has replaced many of my apps, including task managers, note -taking apps, and spreadsheets (though Google Cap will always be on the phone). It’s so good that I’m not looking for alternatives.

This will not be in line with all kinds of users. But if you are like me and prefer brain dumps instead of carefully organizing, then Chat GPT may be another brain that you didn’t know you have.
