Mars used to be a wet world. Scientists have long referred to evidence such as dry -up rivers and ancient lakes. Mars, Mars, will need a thick environment for existence of a lot of water – which was under heat and pressure. But today, Mars is cold, dry, and barely happened. For the first time, NASA’s Maun spacecraft directly observed a long -term process that is responsible for eliminating the Mars environment. It is important to understand when and how this environment has disappeared.

According to a new research results, sputtering is an important procedure for environmental escape. In this mechanism, solar particles collide with the upper environment of Mars. These collisions, in principle, transmit a lot of energy into neutral atoms and help them free from the planet’s gravity, and make them into space.
“This is equivalent to planting cannabis in a pond,” said Shannan Carey, a principal investigator of the Mission Mission at the University of Colorado Bolder, who led the new research, who headed the new research. “The cannon hair, in this case, the heavy ion falling into the atmosphere is really fast and neutral nuclear and spraying molecules.”
Using nine years of data, scientists have created detailed maps of Organ. The study also revealed that sputtering is four times higher than the predictions of previous models, and intensifies during solar storms.
This shows that the process was too much billions of years ago, when the young sun was more active and Mars had already lost its magnetic field. Without magnetic protection, the planet’s atmosphere was a victim of unmanned solar air. This intensified the damage of the environment and caused the surface water disappearance.
