Google YouTube tries to be a step ahead of advertising users

Last year, Google decided to tighten against YouTube users who were deploying AD blockers while streaming videos on the app. The ads that stop them are prevented from watching this video until they have selected until the ad blocker is disabled. Google says preventing advertising on YouTube violates its terms of service. Although Google does a good job of catching its TOS violators, there are many ways in which YouTube viewers can avoid playing ads.

Some of these options used to avoid YouTube ads, such as U -Block Origin and Aid Block, are no longer working according to Reddest users. Some ublock original users said they still can watch videos even if Google is taping and blocking them Share > Operation. This is actually the process we use in our articles when embedded YouTube videos, but apparently, it can be used as a work to defeat Google’s ad blocker video ban.

The advertising on YouTube and Google is back and forth between those who stopped advertising, as a Reddator wrote, “I know it’s very disturbing, we have to detect this mess (around) in every few months.” Another typed, “Yes: Cat, Mouse, Repeat.”

Some YouTube users in which the AD blocker is active is watching this box or black page. | Image Credit-Android Authority

Some people see a huge black box on the screen via Google by losing the ability to watch YouTube videos due to their ad’s blocks. With the white text used against the black background, the heading says, “Advertisement on YouTube is not allowed.” Then it is added:

    • It seems that you are using ad blockers.
    • Advertising allows YouTube to be used by billions of country nationwide.
    • You can be advertised with YouTube premium, and creators can still pay from your membership.

Others see an empty screen instead of a black box. In any way, the results are the same. These YouTube users are being fined for preventing Google from receiving taxes on ads shown before and during these videos.

So we have a fight between Google and YouTube users who do not feel compelled to watch ads before watching the video they want to stream. Google is able to create difficulties for them by permanently upgrading their abilities to see who is using an advertisement blocker and punishing them for doing so. Google may now have upper hand, but most Reddates believe that ad blocker apps will eventually find a way to stop Google’s YouTube ads.
