As a tech writer, as part of his work, and as part of my ongoing effort to be organized at a time, I have experienced the entire pile of apps taking notes over the years: simple, sophisticated, quirky, AI -powered, and runs on it. This is a famous app category, and there is no shortage of options.
Among all these different choices, an app that I return to myself regularly is Google Cap. It is fast and easy to go around, it works on any device, and once you dig a slightly deep into its colorful sticky note interface, there are many useful features to take advantage.
Whether you want to work more with the current Google Cap User app or you are wondering if the Google Cape has enough to try you with whatever note -taking system you have, these are the most attractive features.
Look at your notes just as you want.
From the beginning, after the Google Cap Color post looks at you a clear way to arrange your notes: for yellow to doses and blue shopping lists, for example, or whatever you according to.
There are 11 different pistol colors to choose in addition to the default White, and in the upper part, you have found nine background images that you can use instead, cover topics like celebration, places, recipes and music.
These backgrounds can be changed by clicking on it at any time Painted palette icon At the bottom of each note.
Google has borrowed a trick from Gmail with labels: individual note can have numerous labels, so something can be tagged with “family” and “quick” or “ideas” and “holidays”. This is an easy way to bring an order to your notes, even when their numbers increase in dozens or hundreds.
Labels can also help you find. As you expect from the Google Product, the Google Cap has a search function that is fast and accurate: click inside the search box at the top of the web interface, and you can limit your query to notes that match a particular label (or category or color).
On the web, your labels are listed on the left for easy access. To label the open note, click on the three points below the note, then Add the label (Or Change the label,
Now you can format your text in both the Android and the web version. You can make it bold, atlined, confidential, or crossed. You can also convert size to H1 or H2 headline. Find the icon with one In the sketch a At the bottom of the note. (Unfortunately, it’s not yet available in the iOS version.)
If you want to be able to check items in a list, it’s easy: in the open note, click on Three dots (Or Plus icon At the bottom of the note in the mobile app) Show the checkbox. (If you decide that you don’t want them, you can choose back Hide checkboxes.
You can easily cooperate with other people on notes.
Google Cape allows you to cooperate with other people on notes, without being excessively complicated. Click on Fellow icon On an open note (as well as a plus data), then enter the email addresses of the contacts with which you want to share it. (On the mobile app, you will find the icon by clicking on the three dots below the screen.)
You do not need to see what amendments to Google documents like you, but when someone changes the note you get updates, and you can see who your partner is.
With mutual cooperation, reminders are a truly useful feature that is directly implemented. You can get notifications at a particular time from the Google Cap app or even when you arrive at a particular place (if you have been installed the mobile app). The reminders can be set to repeat, so you can set up a household work list that gives you a clutter at the same time each week.
To set a reminder on the web version, just click a little bit Remind me The icon is at the bottom of each note (which looks like a small bell), then set the options as needed. On the mobile version, the icon is in the upper part of the screen.
Sometimes, you make a note that you want to be able to find immediately. In this case, you can tap the pin icon in the upper part of the note and put the note in the upper part of your list. However, be careful about using it more. I sometimes know that if I pin so many notes, finding them is as difficult as I didn’t do them at all.
You cannot add photos to notes using the image icon at the bottom of the note, but you can also remove the text from them. In the web version, then just click on three dots Hold the photo text. In the mobile version, tap the picture, then Three dots Upper right and Hold the photo text. As long as the letters in the picture or in your drawing will be quite capable, you have a copy of them printed – for example, if you take a business card picture, it can be very easy.
You can add a handmade scrabble. In the web version, click on Three dots And then Add the drawing; In the mobile version, click on Plus icon And Drawing.
The notes can be converted to Google Documents quickly by clicking on three points and choosing at the bottom of the note. Copy on Google Documents. (In the mobile app, click on Three dots And select Send Copy to Google Documents.
