Samsung has not shared a lot of details about the phone outside a GIF, but its flagship has been upgraded for so long that people are jumping on the idea of Galaxy Z Fold 7 ultra. Now, here’s a new leak to reduce our expectations of ultra -foldedable from Samsung.
Lex Max Jamber shared on X that there was no ultra -model coming this summer. Samsung’s teaser indicates the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, but according to Litter, it is only the standard Galaxy Z Fold 7 that will bring the “ultra” experience.
So, what is the ultra about this incoming folded flagship? Max has made it clear in this context that “ultra” refers to camera, performance, thin and unfortunately.
The leak shows that 200 MP primary camera can be presented in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is more than 50 MPs used on Fold 6. The under -display camera has also been improved, though the rest of the camera setup remains the same. We are expecting Snapdragon 8 Elite for the galaxy on the device to upgrade performance.
Fold 7 is also said to be thinner than the current fold 6 and Fold SE, which suggest that it can only measure 9.5 mm when it is closed, and 4.5 mm when open. For comparisons, folded 6 closed and open states are 12.1 mm and 5.6 mm respectively. Fold 6 also costs a heavy $ 1,899, and if that number is also increasing, Max’s post is not immediately clear.
A controversial leak suggests that Samsung can hold a Galaxy opening event on July 10, 2025. A new report from Business Korea It states that Samsung will hold its packaged event in New York City early next month, which is at the first packaged event in New York after the start of Fold 4 in August 2022. Samsung has not yet confirmed the program, so we hope to get more information from the company in the coming days.
