Although there is no way to confirm this year, Honor claims that his upcoming magic V5 will be the thin and lightweight in the smartphone market. We do not even know how long this will continue as Samsung is launching its new top-foldables-Galaxy Z Philip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, next month. What do we know that the Honor flagship foldable will still be equipped with the most powerful chapel of Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading version. This has been confirmed by listing on the benchmark Agriculture Gack Bench, so it is unlikely that this is not going to happen.
Compared to the “Vanila” Snapdragon 8 Elite, the leading version includes two prime core that runs at 4.47GHz instead of 4.32GHz. It increases the slightest performance that phones equipped with this specific chip set (namely Samsung Galaxy S25 series, Red Magic 10 SS Pro+, Honor GT Pro), are suffering from something else available in the market.
The phone is listed on the Gack Bench with the Model Number MHG-In00, which is the same as the Honor Magic V5 presented on the CMIIT certification website. Speaking of certification, Magic V5 is expected to pack a large -scale 6,100 mAh battery, according to CMIIT.

The Gack Benchlisting also confirms that Honor Magic V5 Pack runs at least 16 GB RAM and Android 15. Previous reports also claim that the upcoming flagship of Honor is a large 8 -inch folding screen as well as a large -scale camera of 200 megapixel.
The Honor tries to achieve numerous “World Firsts” with Magic V5. The flagship is not only expected to be the thin and light in the market, but it will also pack the largest battery used in foldable.
To achieve this goal, the magic v5 should be more thin than 8.93 because how thick is Oppo N5 when it is closed. The 6,100 mAh battery that has been confirmed by CMIIT keeps the magic V5 a little ahead when its size comes. Another impressive flagship foldable is coming soon, which is expected to be 6,000 MAH battery, Vivo X Fold 5.
Honor Magic V5 is rumored to arrive at some time this month, but it is unclear whether the global launch will agree with the release of Chinese.
