- Samsung is warning users that their unused accounts will soon be deleted.
- This affects the accounts that have been inactive for 24 months.
- You will need to log into your account before July 31, 2025.
Do you have a Samsung account you haven’t used in a while? It may be at risk of deleting. Samsung plans to clear all old, unused accounts in the near future.
According to SeamlessSamsung has begun to warn users that it will implement the account’s inactive policy. This policy affects accounts that have been inactive for 24 months or more. If your account is considered inactive, the company will automatically delete this account for you. It seems that Samsung’s policy is a move aimed at protecting the data of people who have not used an account for the extension period.
Once deleted the account, all the data associated with this account will also expire. Since you won’t be able to restore any of the deleted data, you would like to make sure that you have no significant information in your accounts.
You can also save your account by logging into it. There is plenty of time to save your old account as the policy will not be implemented by July 31, 2025. If you are not sure if you have an account, it has been said that the Samsung accounts will send notifications to the email address which is in danger of deleting.
