A recent study, published in the Science Advanced Journal on May 14, 2025, suggests that Venice, who was previously considered inactive, could be geographically active. This tectonic plate can be the result of activity. Further research shows that mysterious circular land for Venus. They are called corona and they get the shape because of the growing plums of hot rocks below the surface. This activity, like Earth’s tectonic plates, changes Venice’s behavior as a dead planet. Moreover, it triggers questions about its dynamic past and housing in the future.

    Exposing corona’s mystery

Research published in the journal Science Advance led by Assistant Research Scientist at Maryland University, Jail Kaskii and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. In the 1990s, the investigating team analyzed NASA’s Majilan Mission data after the Venice’s circle to know Corona, which is circular and wider in the geological structure.

In 1983, when Venus Corona was discovered, he surprised scientists because of its unique and circular shape. Recent research shows that the structures are formed by the hot material plums starting with the Mental in Venice. Such plums despised the layer, which led to circular regulations and valleys at its level.

    Gravity data opens hidden activity

With NASA’s Magylin data, researchers got plums under 52 Corona. Due to the underground difference in the density, the observations, like a change in gravity, confirm the predictions made by the imitation and give strong evidence that the Venice is not geographical.
    Subscancation without plates

Venice has no tectonic plates like land. However, the new results indicate the possibility of submission to the corona edges. The pulse from the bottom from the bottom is pushing the outside, which causes bending the surrounding layer and sinking under the corona. These zones can be at a place where Venus suffers a strong earthquake activity.

    Looking at future missions

Research shows that Venus is currently tricky. This indicates that if Venus is now geographically vibrant, it may have a residence mill, which indicates new possibilities in terms of future housing ability and evolution of planets.
