The iPhone 17 lineup is likely to go officially with four models in September – iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. When we wait for the official debut, a analyst has suggested that the standard iPhone 17 will offer a chip set like last year’s iPhone 16. Meanwhile, it is said that Apple will use a new metalism technology in the upcoming iPhone series, and it is expected that it will significantly reduce the size of the dynamic island in all four iPhone models.

IPhone 17 can maintain the previous year’s chip and ram

Referring to a research note from Macromers, Equity Research Firm GF Securities, Jeff PU, reports, reports that the iPhone 17 will use the same A18 chip as found on the iPhone 16. This chip can be manufactured with the second generation of TSMC with a 3NM N3E node. The alleged handset ram will also remain the same at 8GB.

The iPhone 17 Air A19 is expected to come up with the chip, while the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max are said to ship with A19 Pro Chip. It is said that these chip seats are manufactured with the 3NM process of the third generation of TSMC, known as N3P. IPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max have been equipped with 8GB of 12GB of 12GB in iPhone 16 Pro models.

Jeff PU, in November last year, claimed that the entire iPhone 17 line -up would run on A19 and A19 Pro SCS.

In addition, the PU saw in its research note, through the 9TO5MAC, said that all models of the iPhone 17 series will use a new metlice technology for proximity sensor. This technology is said to help Apple reduce facial ID sensors size. With this change, the entire iPhone 17 family will allegedly find a small dynamic island, which is likely to increase the physical proportion of the screen.

This indicates a change by the analyst’s prediction that suggested that only the iPhone 17 Pro Max will present the design change. The dynamic island was first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro Model. The pill -shaped cut -out face has ID hardware and selfie camera. It was increased in 2023 in all iPhone 15 models.
