Google is currently playing as a passive feature on Pixel phones, which automatically shows the game track on your lock screen and now playing in the Settings menu in the date page. However, there is no proper way to identify a track. One task is to use the search functionality of the song in the Google app, which can be accessed in several ways (such as tapping the microphone icon in a sharp settings tile or app). Unlike the game right now, this solution requires internet connection. In addition, the tracks identified by the Google app are no longer included in the date of playing your device, even though they are stored in your Google account.

As screenshots show, taping the play tile now allows you to manually identify the track while “searching the song …” also produces the notification. We were not able to work properly this feature, but we are guessing that track information will eventually be shown in a notification.
In any case, this will be a long -term increase to play on pixel phones. We have already reported that many pixels owners are now having difficulty playing to work, so seeking this feature manually would be a welcome alternative to automatic detection. Our fingers have been crossed that it is now implemented instead of skin after playing tile tiles.
