Nothing phone is to be introduced on July 3 as the company’s first flagship grade smartphone. The UK -based original equipment company (OEM) has now shocked that despite packing numerous promising upgrade, its desired handset will lose a key design feature that has not been the synonym for smartphones since phone 1. This possibly means that nothing is currently unable to do phone 1 or phone 2 users who are accustomed to checking alerts through LEDs shining in the previous section if they upgrade to phone 3.

Nothing Gulf Interface on Phone 3

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), nothing shared a short video clip with this title “We killed the Gulf interface.” The video itself makes the disappearance of this feature. It is unclear whether this will be a permanent decision in the company’s future device portfolio or is specific to the phone 3 only.

The British OEM introduced the Gulf interface with its first smartphone in 2022. Since then, the signing factor has been highlighted in every handset of anything with minor changes, which makes them different from other smartphones and makes them easily recognizable.

The golf interface is mainly a combination of LED lights in the back of the handset that shines to indicate incoming calls, notifications and battery charging status. They are uniquely synchronized for each preset ringtone, and their style can also be customized to make a shining design. This functionality is not available from phone 1 to the latest some phone 3A Pro. However, the desired flagship grade handset is likely to lose it.

No phone 3 is claimed to be the company’s “first real flagship smartphone”. It is said that it has come with large performance upgrades, premium content, and “software that actually puts things on the surface”. Although its specifications are wrapped up, we know how much it will cost.

During the Android Show: I/O Edition earlier this month, some co -founder Carl PE did not tease that Ported would not be around the phone 3 cost GBP 800 (about 9090,000 rupees). Nothing compared to the phone 2, the cost is almost double, which costs RS. 44,999 at the time of launch for 20 GB + 128GB for configuration.
