Although Space X is ready for its starchy launch vehicle’s most expected ninth test, the company, as usual, has revealed why the open phase of Flight 8 failed, which resulted in it returning to Midir on March 6. The test flight, which was left out of the company’s Starbase site in the tax, when it arrived, when it was set on fire from the company’s staster base site, it was affected by the sky. Although the Super Heavy Booster returned safely to the Star Base with the help of “Maczila”, the upper phase irregularities shortened the mission, and it stopped trying to deploy star link satellites.
Space X revealed that the Starting Flight 8 blast due to engine flash, flight cleared for the beginning of May 9 27
According to the Space X update released on May 22, the crash was caused by hardware failure in one of the ship’s center raptor engines. The failure resulted in a “flash” near the sea -level repeater, which mobilized the closure of several engines, including vacuum raptors, and began rotating in vehicles. Two minutes later, the communication ended and the automatic flight termination software was activated, causing the vehicle’s destruction. The incident showed near the flight 7, which ended in the upper stage explosion in a different engine section.
Flash was inadvertently detected in the engine bay. Space X mentioned further inspection, which revealed more heat in the ignition system of several engines. Although the super heavy returned to the most intact ground, ignition problems affected 2 of its 13 engines during the Boostbackburn. Space X is strengthening the engine insulation and modifying the thermal system to prevent repetition in future flights.
To correct the mistakes, Space X engineers implemented structural and mechanical improvement. McGregor, Texas, more than 100 long -term test firing, FAA, NASA, and space force under supervision, strict joints, a new nitrogen parajus system, improved property drainage, and Ripter 3 engine preparations are included.
With the FAA now satisfied Space X has solved the problems, the starchy has been cleared to return to the flight. Flight 9 has to launch before May 27, riding in a re -used super heavy booster. Space X will launch the launch on its official platforms at 7:30 pm.
