Google Maps started chaos this week on the streets of Germany this week after Google Maps incorporated drivers that highways were closed across the country during a busy holiday. Apparently closed roads were located near major German cities and metropolitan areas, including Berlin, Dusseldorf and Dartmund.
As a locally resident journalist reported BenefactorDrivers opening Google’s navigation app will see a crowd of red dots used to identify the nuns, resulting in people looking for alternative routes, causing traffic piles across the country. Benefactor It has also been reported that the police and local authorities were confused about the stay (and probably very angry) about the stay.
To complicate this problem, Google Maps faults with the launch of Germany’s Essence Day Public Holiday on May 29, which means the roads were even more busy than usual.
The problem was reportedly just a few hours and only real road restrictions were being shown until Thursday afternoon. It is unclear whether Google’s maps have just been malfunction, or if it was to make more allegations more blatant. “Information in Google Maps is obtained from a number of sources. Information, such as places, streets, limits, traffic data, and road networks are combined with third -party providers, public sources and consumer input.” Burlinner Morgen PostHe added that it is investigating the issue internally. “Generally, these sources provide a strong foundation for comprehensive and sophisticated maps.”
Technical issues with Google Maps are not unusual. In March, consumers were reporting that their timeline – which keeps track of all the places that come before your future – was wiped out, Google later confirmed that some people have really deleted their data, and in some cases, they will not be able to recover.
