Spatif has been experiencing AI in some form since 2023, when he first started his personal DJ. In the early days, I noticed that the DJ was quite rough. Certainly, it sometimes gives me a new benjer in the manner I liked or played some old yet beloved song that I didn’t think about in decades, but the biggest problem was the lack of real customization. It improved significantly with the introduction of AIPlaylists in 2024, but it has been a slow journey.

Since then, I have been using the AI features of Spatif regularly. I often put on the DJ when cleaning or working, and I have used the AIplaylist system to create a custom playlist of modern music according to my taste. Although not everyone has been affected by Spatif’s AI, I have noticed that the caution is the result of beautiful decent playlists as a result of the built -in indicators.

When I have been experiencing these features from the first day, I did not rely permanently for music recommendations, mostly they are considered as curiosity. However, the latest AI improvement of Spatif has changed in 2025. Although I had previously used DJ regularly, it was certainly a weak factor that led to the failure to communicate or adopt them according to immediate requests. Thankfully, it changed earlier this month when DJ had the ability to make specific applications.

Between the improvement of the AIplaylists and the new DJ, I really feel that Spatif’s AI features have changed the style of finding and listening to music.

Do you use Spatif’s DJ and AIPlaylist features?

What do I like about Spotif DJ and AIPlaylists

Some people are very special about their music preferences. They memorize the playlist orders and have specific songs they jump through memory – my daughter is one of them. There is no problem in this point of view. Some people know exactly what they want to hear and especially when.

I am very different My musical tastes can move from the country to heavy metal, screams, and then go into alternative music within fifteen minutes. As a result, I love different types and love to discover new songs.

In the past, most of my new music recommendations come from the radio. It is still occasionally, but nowadays, I am more likely to choose Spatifs. In straight words, this is a great way for me to discover new music and re -discover the favorite favorite.

Until some time ago, I basically discovered music through these methods:

    • Listening to a new lyrics on stores, work conferences, or events, then find it and add it to Spatifs.
    • The use of the recommended playlists on the home section of Spatifs and adding a favorite in existing playlists.
    • Browse the random spotted playlists in my priority species, then I prepare radio playlists from my songs, which further expanded my discovery.
    • Studies to help me create a spatheph radio station based on favorite songs or artists, re -discover the old favorite and find new.

In 2023, I added another way: Spatif’s DJ. I will activate the DJ, which combines the new music with the current favorite and has forgotten in the short segments of five songs near each of them. After that I will add standout tracks to the current playlists.

He did a reasonable job to capture my style, but I disliked his instability. For example, despite hearing the device’s playlist mainly during work, DJ will play the tracks when I was cleaning or exercising, killing the mood completely.

AIPlaylists addressed the issue to some extent in 2024, which allowed me to create detailed indicator playlists, which would result in a long list of appropriate recommendations. The key lesson I learned: issues of specificity. For example, saying, “Do not run the music of the 80s”, can produce the 80s tracks due to contradictory interpretation. On the contrary, saying, “Play music since the 60s, 90s and 2000,” significantly better results.

My teenage daughter is unpleasant that I listen to many modern songs as she does. Thank you, Spatif!

To this location, I found myself using the Spotaf Radio Function less, though it still worked as a sharp way to discover new music. And now, with the latest 2025 DJ update, allows direct requests, I may quit using the radio function fully. The ability to disrupt the DJ has also been a game changer. For example, if I am suddenly in a rig or smooth jazz mode, I can now request it immediately. Currently, whatever DJ is proposing is not required to be resolved, and in most cases it is faster than changing playlists.

Earlier today, I requested songs like Amjan Dragon’s “shark”. Although most of the suggestions were not new, the DJ played numerous favorite and even introduced the missing tracks from my existing playlists like “Feel” through Portugal. The man was uselessly included “sharks”, but I didn’t mind.

In combination with the AIplaylists, I have discovered new music more than the past few months or before. Earlier, I added new songs from getting rid of, most of my playlist was anchored around the tracks in the early 80s to 2010. Now, I have playlists that feature dozens of songs written after 2020, an extension that is more slow and low using my first methods.

Spatif has changed my listening habits to a large scale, but they are still not perfect according to any definition.

There is still enough space for improvement

    Andrew Grish / Android Authority

As much as I find the DJ useful, especially now that I can interact with it, the experience still leaves a lot to be desired. For one thing, the conversation is still quite limited, as you have to manually target the application button in the DJ. It may not seem like anything bigger, but that means that whenever I want to change my music, I have to take my phone out of my pocket. Although I can still target the next button to change the DJ track, there is no way to communicate with it.

I would love to integrate with some kind of sound trigger system, or perhaps Gemini in the app so I can use Google Assistant to apply for DJ. Several AI technologies have been used to consider the solution of Spatifs, including Open AI for the Generative AI aspects, it does not seem to be out of the left field that the Spotaf will eventually work with Google to ensure that Android OS -level controls are also integrated with these main features.

The DJ promises a lot, but the interactiveness is still a bit limited.

Beyond sound stimulation, I want to be more gray. Currently, DJ uses my music playback history and its own internal algorithm, which may be helpful, but often lacks context. For example, he recently heard a month ago, he suggested. One of the reasons I stopped playing – I wore them! Custom indicators or personality features can help inform DJ why some tracks are temporarily out of circulation and at this moment your mood is better improved.

Similarly, AIplaylists can use improvement. Current AI indicators should be extremely specific, and sometimes AI Holchanti, irrelevant songs or very few options. Simple explanation indicators – “I can’t get the exact match, please clarify” – will increase the user’s experience significantly.

Spotif is on the right path, but the competition is on his help

    Robert Triggs / Android Authority

Although this is not perfect, I really believe that Spatif is on the right path with its AI features. It can have some competition in the form of features such as the feature of YouTube music as a feature of AI radio, but it is still a clear leader in this place. In fact, this is the only big music streaming platform that has invested a lot in AI integration beyond some small test features.

In its current phase, AI’s features can really get amazing results or absolute garbage – it is a coin flour, like most things AI. For those who tried and hated it, it is also important that it is important to note that it needs a lot of interaction at present before it improves. I have seen that the more I leave the tracks or the entire choice, the better it is that it will be better than its chickens. It is not fully customized that I want to see finally, but it is important to note that what you get with Spatif DJ one day is not necessary that you get it regularly one or two weeks after regular use.

If the Spatifs can improve the customs and accuracy of their AI outside the gate, all the above mentioned problems will be eliminated, and the use of DJ can create a default gateway for those who do not believe in what mode they are in.
