Blow candles on the cake. Today is the 10th anniversary of Google Photo and to celebrate, Google has published a blog that mentions new features, tricks and tools. Before we dig these Google gifts, let’s take a look at some of the impressive numbers of Google Photo. For example, 1.5 billion (with “B”) people use Google Photos every month. Every month, Google Photos undergo 370 million search, shares 440 million images, and edit 210 million images.
New features to help you celebrate 10 years of Google images are running over time
In the changes in the Google Photo app will use AI to offer a newly designed editor tips. Some of these recommendations may use a combination of effects that are bundled together in a button that allow you to edit immediately. You also press on a specific section of the image to get the edit’s edit recommendations in this area of the image. The surprising thing here is that the two features found on the magic editor for the Pixel 9 line are coming to more Android devices next month and later this year.

The two features are remgrine and auto frames. The former allows you to select a portion of an image and use the text indicators, type changes in the appearance, content or texture of an item. For example, you can choose a wall in a picture and turn it into a “flower field” or a stone wall. You can also change the background, add new elements, or replace items. The auto frame uses AI to identify the subject of the image and expand the background, straighten the crooked image and more.
With new features, you can find pictures in Google Photo using articles or specific locations names. For example, now you can type “in a black suit” or “Uncle Ben on the beach.” You will need to name the faces, including yourself in the “people and pets” section, to help identify names. Now you have the ability to share albums with others using rolling QR codes. Anyone can scan the code to see or add photos from the albums. Through Google Photos, you will also be able to tap the collection tab and select the “locations” to see your photos properly on the interactive map, which will help you to live the leisure journey.
Google Photos will automatically show you photos representing “Best Months” and “Recover at the end of the year”. You can even share them with family members and friends. Speaking of sharing, you press the “+” button, select the “Highlight Video” and select you to add to the personal Monthage. It may include yourself, your friend, your pet, or a particular place or event. The photo will be automatically found without interruption and the music will be included automatically.

You can also add new photos selected to albums sharing with others. If you dreamed of getting rid of your feed in your feed, you can tap on the 3 -dot icon found in the upper part of your central gallery and allow the app to stack the same pictures that are taken together or near.
Google Photo app can help you open free storage on your phone
If you don’t want to remind anyone or any particular pet in Google Photo memories, you can hide some people, pets, or even dates. You can choose between time -based or therapy memories Settings > Preference > Memories.
Finally, Google Photos can help you get some storage back on your phone. With the opening of the Google Photos app, tap your profile picture and then “Free the place on this device.” This will remove backup images already in your Google Photo account while adding more storage space to your phone. You will still be able to see the pictures stored in your Google Photo account at any time and your phone will open some storage space you will now need.
Google Photos has made a long journey in its first decade. We can’t even imagine how the app will be like in the next 10 years.
