- Star Fox 64 Recamp got a major update, which has new release for steam deck and switch.
- Playing locally on modern hardware, it offers better graphics, fraud and more.
- This is the first major update of the project since it was released in December 2024.
Six months have passed since the restoration of Starshp 64, N -64 brought to Windows, but the project has now received a huge update with new features, Big Fixes and two additional platforms. The starch is called Bernard Alpha (V2.0.0), it brings the new, ancestral code for the first time to the steam deck and the Nintendo switch.
Certainly, you can play Star Fox 64 on both platforms via N64 emulators or Nintendo Switch Online (also an emulator), but the ancestral fan port brings many important modernity. For example, it supports high resolutions, wide screen outputs, apascling, fraud, 5.1 surroundings, and more. You can also overturn the stick!
The fan port works without an emulator and has a lot of modern additions.
By the way, you will still need the working room of Star Fox 64 to start the game. Like all the re -setting projects, developers have also developed a device that extracts copyright assets from the legally obtained ROM. It completely removes any piracy concerns, so it is a huge win for the protection of the game. The latest version now works on the European Union version of the US, JP, and Rome.
This Harbor Masters is one of the many rehabilitation projects, which has previously released the Legend of Zealda: Okarina of Time and Magora’s mask of Time of Time of Time and 2 Ship 2 Harquin. Later, the two received ports on Android phones by the third party, though the stars did not behave according to writing.
You can download the code for the project on the official gut hub, but once again, you have to throw your physical copy and make it a source of your own room.
