The future is now! The Emuri Hellandel Hospital in Lithuania, Georgia, has adopted Apple Technology in its works, indicating a significant change on how it manages clinical workflows and patients care.
With the integration of the epic system (a comprehensive electronic health record system) on Mac, the hospital has replaced its legacy system with a suit of Apple Devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. This rollout is designed to smooth tasks, reduce management loads and improve overall performance for health care providers.
IPhone has become a central communication tool for therapists. Every nurse and physician now lifts his device, which allows immediate update and harmony. Therapists also use Apple Watch to receive notifications in real -time, including the lab results by the Epic Lamerk app. This level of reaction was not possible even before the traditional systems.
The iPads are deployed outside every patient’s room, magnetically connected to allow access. These devices improve real -time patients’ data such as allergies and care guidelines such as staff. Within each room, patients have their own iPads also equipped with the MyCrat BedSide app, which enables them to review medical records, watch care plans and directly interact with health care teams.
It seems practical, but I imagine that some patients want to give the iPad a spin and want to play one or two games, or want to watch the movie. Will this be possible?
I can stay with my patients as the latest that was not possible before. Healthcare has historically been slow to adopt technology, which I think is a mistake. We can use technology to provide better and more efficient care for our patients.

Mac Computers now replace all desktop and laptop systems throughout the hospital. Therapists use MacBook Air to transport it, while nursing stations are manufactured with IMAC and McMeni. It supports hardware setup epic and other clinical tools, which enables physicians to manage patients in practice anywhere. The staff reported the benefits such as sharp logs, easy documents, and low eastrin.
Before implementing these changes to Emuri Helland, Emuri Healthcare launched a pilot program at Emuri St. Joseph’s hospital. The results increased the satisfaction between nurses and therapists, with the speed of the document and the improvement of the user’s experience. Research by Emuri’s Dr. Vikram Narayan has shown that using Apple products with epic and integration documents with tools, it saves an average of two hours daily.
Employees and epic and epic are looking for new applications of Apple Technology, including the initial use of Apple Vision Pro for surgical planning and research: and this is something we have talked about since the unveiled headset.
