Ah, happiness To open a little time to the holiday and keep your feet up. Or if you have children, the opportunity to cry in a new time zone. On my last holiday, my family kicked off before leaving the airport and did not give up.

“Father, my internet is not working.” “Father, where can I charge it?” “Dad, what is WiFi password?” “Father, are we there right now?”

Fortunately, this year I planned, and you can also work with a harmonious family holidays with our best travel guide. Resd

    Internet

The theory, it would be great to leave your phone and tablets behind and drown yourself in a holiday experience to “live, laugh, love your path all over the world.” In fact, traveling is the slow moments and time, and teenagers cannot be separated from the Internet for long. You can save yourself a lot of trouble while ensuring that everyone can get online.

    A travel router

My top hint is to set up a travel router Ago You go to plug it into your current router and then integrate all the devices carrying the holidays, but most importantly, you, your partner and your children’s phones. Now, when you arrive at your apartment or hotel, you can plug in, connect the travel router to the public Wi -Fi, or also connect your phone with the router and use it as a warm space, so everyone is safely connected without the need for login details. Here is the one I recommend to you in the Best Wi -Fi Rotors Guide.

    Integrated smartphones

You should examine your roaming options on which you are going, but this is a safe condition that roaming payments will be a heavy unwanted extra costs, especially if you allow your children to connect with foreign networks. You have some options to avoid this problem.

    • Use your phone as a warm place: On my phone contract I have some roaming travel allowances that my wife and kids don’t have, so it made my phone realize to use as a warm space when we contact out and about it. Check your contract before doing this, but even if you do not have specific benefits, you will be cheaper to get a device’s data as much as possible. Here’s how to use your phone as a warm space. It will faster your battery, but I have a tip for it down in the charging section. Remember, turn off cell service or mobile data on the rest of your family’s phones.
    • Buy Travel SIM or ESIM: When you land abroad, you can snatch an international SIM card to switch to your phone. This can be a cost -effective way to ensure that you have enough data and can connect with foreign networks, though this means using a different number for your stay period. We have a guide about how to use Esim for international travel.
    • Buy a warm place: Instead of using your phone as a warm space, you can always build for a purpose to connect with everyone. These portable devices need a SIM or ESIM and enable you to connect multiple gadgets through Wi-Fi. Even some portable hot spots come with the service. I recently experienced excellent but valuable net gear night hawk M6 Pro ($ 800) and cheap but inferior Acer Connect Endoro M3 5G ($ 356).

    Download ahead of time

To prepare for travel, you should download the maps in advance and plot your paths. If you use Google Maps, you can tap your profile icon on top right (if you use an Apple map) and select Offline map To start. Downloading the map of the area you are visiting is a good way to save data and work as a backup when there are connection issues when you arrive.

If you are looking for instructions in Google Maps, somewhere for public transport from the airport to the hotel, remember you can tap Leave. Drop -down box (Now In Apple Maps) and select one day and time to get the right instructions for your arrival.

It is also a good idea to make sure you and your children have some fun on your phone before going to the phone. Choose some movies or episodes of a favorite show and download them at night. Here’s how to download videos to view offline. Some excellent mobile games can also be played offline (I recommend Mini metro,

    Recreation

Speaking of fun, you should take something with you. At the end of a busy day’s fun or roller coaster ride, you want to open with an hour TV, and if you do not speak the language, the novelty of the Spanish soap opera or French debate shows will end rapidly. I always pack our Chrome cast, but any of our best streaming devices guides will choose. This stop stick is our favorite and easily plugs into any available HDMI port.

Just make sure you are logged in all your streaming services and you connect them to your travel router before leaving. That way, you have all your favorite shows and the next event is correct. If you are blocked with these disturbing login screens for Hotel Wi -Fi, you can always contact Wi -Fi on your phone and log in, then use it as a warm space for your streaming stick.

    Charging travel

Packing charging gear is very important when you travel. You will want a travel editor, charging cables, and power banks. Make sure you have the right adapters for the country you are visiting, make sure you have a charging cable for whatever device you are taking, and test them all before leaving home. Don’t forget about your smart watch, fitness tracker, or smart color. I also recommend taking at least one spare travel charger in this case. I run through different options in my best travel adapter guide, but the top choice for family trips is ideal.

    GAN 70W Universal Travel Adapter

The top choice in our best USB-C cables guide will charge any device with the USB-C port, but this is an easy option for people with a nomadic cable Apple Watch.

Gypsy Universal Cable for Apple Watch

In our Best Portable Chargers Guide you can also find many options for different devices, but this is what I recommend for traveling.

    Hello

One of our favorite password managers, 1 password, features travel mode, which enables you to delete any sensitive data from the devices before traveling and restore it after crossing the border. It prevents anyone, including law enforcement agencies at international borders, from accessing your full password. You may also be interested in how to protect yourself from the search for a phone on the American border.

If you are living on campuses or rental houses and have concerns about someone that you face rumors through your luggage, or if you think there is a risk of theft, it may be able to pack a portable security camera. Try the camera from our best indoor security camera guide to Airbus and Wi -Fi locations. Our top choice is compact and cheap.

If you need something that can go out or connect with a mobile network because there is no Wi -Fi, I recommend this arlo camera in my best outdoor security camera guide. But it is expensive and when Wi -Fi is not available, a cell service plan is needed.

    Bonus Travel Tips

Here are some bonus points that can help your family travel more easily. Bone travel!

Although raising a little cash in the case of a store or service is always a good idea that the card does not accept, you can also get plastic that is widely accepted and enables you to change the amount from a couple of taps. I like a wise card and use it on all my visits as it offers quick electronic currency exchange in the app, with decent rates for many big currencies. You also get a Contact Lace Visa Debit Card that you can use on your journey. Remember, paying local currency whenever you get a choice is usually the best (cheap).

Photos and videos can help you preserve your holiday highlights so you can give birth to your growing family and friends, but it is also good to consider it in future years. The best camera is the same with you, so maybe your phone, but if you want to prepare your game, consider our best compact cameras, the best 360 cameras, and the best action camera guides.

We always travel the light because it means not waiting for the bag at the airport and making it easier for and out of buses and trains. See the recommendations of our best Carry On Equipment Guide, but always check the airline principles for bag size before leaving. On our last trip, I used the Exterior Travel Pack Vacuum Cut (9 129) to compress my clothes and squeeze more. If you are living in the Air BNB or rented apartment, you can always wash clothes, so you don’t have to pack more.
