Thanks to the release of Android 16 QPR1 beta 1, I got the first taste of Google’s next large OS and its material changes 3 expression design. Although I have not discovered everything offered by this son, some highlights are noteworthy.
If you are not yet on the QPR1 son and want to be, it is easy to join. We have a leader to install Android 16 QPR1 beta on your device when needed, but this process is straightforward. Select your eligible phone and choose into the beta program, which includes models from Pixel 6 to Pixel 9 and series devices. I have this pixel 9A. However, remember that this is a beta blood, so some features cannot work as expected, and there is a risk of data reduction. Consider it carefully before proceeding.

For those who choose not to download it, you are missing. This is the one who stood in front of me in Android 16 Qpr1 Son 1.
Big Android 16 changes that wrap my eye
Joe Mark / Android Authority
First, there are some excellent visual updates thanks to the content 3 expression. You may love or hate these changes, but I like them enough. We first expressed the material at the Android Show, and it has refreshed Android 16 with physics -based dynamic images, upgraded app components, fresh color themes, background fading effects and more. Although the next month’s Android 16’s stable release will not happen, the QPR offers us a glimpse of things to come.
There are some excellent visual updates thanks to the content 3.
One of my favorite updates is the shade of quick settings. Toggles and buttons are more bold and more colorful, which includes a large amount of personality. The previous version felt a lot of and lack of customization, but now you can change the size of these tiles, which is an excellent practical increase. There is even more customization, which allows you to get your quick settings more than your needs. And if you change your tiles to the smallest size, thus remove their name, Android 16 has a Nifty truck to tell you how you are clicking on the shining indicators at the bottom of the Quick Setting Panel.
Now you also have a click toggle for the Internet and Bluetooth. In instant settings, if you swipe twice, you will see a good blurry effect. It is associated with your background, which is more likely to be expressed, which lacked the old version of Android. Not only is fading, not only in fast settings, not, in Android 16 everywhere. On the current screen, you will see a blurred version of your wallpaper, which is peeking like a quick settings. It’s more clear, and I really like it.
Bloor is everywhere in Android 16.
There are other important changes in the UI, in which the adaptation of the status bar apple is more noteworthy.

The biggest change is the battery icon, which now shows the percentage within the indicator for the first time. Earlier, it showed the remaining percentage, but now these figures are shown in itself. The status bar also updates the Wi -Fi symbol, which has a more specific three parts design, and is a new double SIM friendly signal bar design for your carrier contacts.
Another material 3 expression changes under control of the volume. This is a lesser bubble, a small change I like. Popout volume control is also re -designed, now sliders are now similar to easy home screen volume control.
In the settings, you will find a change in appearance. Color symbols below the left make it easy to identify items at a glance. This makes the Settings app more different and more duplicate than ever.
In the fingerprint unlock section of the settings, a new “Registered Fingerprint Check” button. Pressing it opens the black screen with a fingerprint symbol. When tapped, it returns to the settings menu, highlighting the safe fingerprints used to unlock your phone. If a fingerprint has not been registered, “fingerprint has not been recognized” is said to be a signal. This is a good way to test whether someone has inserted a fingerprint on your phone with a lizard, or if you want to confirm that your fingerprint has been properly registered.
Some of my favorite changes are in the wallpaper settings, where Google has added new customization options.
Some of my favorite changes are in the wallpaper settings, where Google has added new customization options. For example, you can now click the effect button in the wallpaper settings and put your wallpaper into a custom frame called magical portrait.

You can choose from five frames, some of which can cut some parts of the pictures like my dog’s face. The feature is still in the beta, so changing size is not yet available. You can choose frame color from the bottom of the frames, which are determined by the dominant wallpaper colors.
Another wallpaper change is the addition of the weather elements, a feature of Samsung was earlier in the construction of a UI. Google now lets you add the weather elements in your wallpaper to add fog, rain, snow or sun based on its local conditions. You can change the severity with the slider. It looks cool, especially with rain in 3D. This is amazingly practical, because now I can now check my wallpaper instead of opening my weather app.

There is also a new slider to change the clock size on the lock screen, but it is currently available on the default clock using just a reaction font. This allows you to change size and width in a movement. Perhaps it will come out in other clock style in the future, but its scope is still limited.
There are also small changes. When you close and swipe apps, there is a new animation. In the recent menu, each app has a new tablet detected, which contains a screenshot, select, and spreads options such as preventing the app.

When updating your phone, a small popup appears, indicating more space for apps and widgets on the home screen. Finally, the Pixel Launcher has more space for apps on the home screen, and has shrunk slightly at a glance. Is this a small step toward moving it? I hope
Google has also taken some design ideas from Samsung and Apple.
A lot of Android 16 Qpr1 is walking inside the beta, and I think I have barely taken the surface. But these are some of the big changes that I immediately download. See after. I am desperate to be trapped in a beta, but early symbols indicate an interesting suit of practical and aesthetic changes.
What do you think about Android 16 so far? Are you going to download the first beta, or are you already? Tell us in the comments given below.
