On Tuesday, Google I/O 2025 key sessions focused on the updates and features of the new artificial intelligence (AI). At the same time, Mountain View-based Tech Dev also introduced a new tool to bring more transparency when it came to AI-invaluable content. Dodged Santhaid detector, this is an under -test verification portal that can detect and identify the company’s multi -modal AI content made using AI models. This technology can identify audio, video, icon and text, which allows individuals to easily guess whether a piece of content is made of human or artificial.

Google Tests Santhaide Detator Verification Platform

The company first unveiled Santhaide as a technology in 2023 that could add an unbeaten watermark to material that cannot be removed nor tampered with. In 2024, the company opened text water marking technology to businesses and developers. When analyzed using special software, the hidden watermark appears. Google is now examining the verification portal dubbed santhaid detector, which will allow people to check it quickly whether the media has been developed using AI.

In a blog post, Tech Dev said that the portal provides transparency “in the landscape of the generating media rapidly developed.” With VEO 3 and Imagin 4 AI models that can produce hyperralystics images and videos, the risk of department has also increased significantly.

Although measures such as unity and authenticity (C2PA) standards for contents have offered AI companies a way to highlight AI infiltrated content, they are not fully tampered. Innovative watermarking technologies enable users and companies to protect themselves from misinformation and artificial abuse content.

Google explained that the portal is straightforward to use. Customers can upload the media that suspects they are manufactured using Google’s AI tools and synthesized detectors, then scan uploaded media and detect any artificial watermark. Then, it shares the results, and if a watermark is detected, it is highlighted which part of this material AI can be helped. In particular, the toll does not work with Google AI products.

The biggest advantage of Santhaid is that unacceptable watermark does not compromise on the quality of the media, and at the same time, it is not possible to remove or change it. Currently, Google is sending the portal to the initial testers, and plans to make it more widely available later this year. Journalists, media professionals and researchers may be included in the weightlist to get access to Santhaid Detectors.
