Make sure our Google I/O direct blog, where the wired team in attendance will offer an analysis of a minute of news and all announcements. Once we get closer to the main event, we will post a link to the blog here.
Beyond the central key note, there is a developer -based key note that starts at 1:30 pm PDT (4:30 EDT).
What do you expect
So AI really, this is what we expect Tuesday’s key notes to be covered. Google is developing its machine intelligence efforts in all its platforms, creating the main experience of the search, the key features of Android, and the company’s various production tools. Remember, it was just a year ago that we had heard about the AI review for the first time, so we would probably get the latest information about how AI -powered searching has increased over the past year, and this is a roadmap where it is going.
We will certainly hear the latest information about Gemini, and how the latest model is being used on Android phones. Google has some projects that are still in their experimental phase – such as the next Gemini model, and the search for its new AI format – and I/O is the place where Google usually pushes these items into general release.
We already know about what we are coming to Android this year, as Google has already shared the design changes in Android 16 and the ability to stop the new Android phone scheme. We also know that no pixel or nest hardware announced in I/O will be possible. New phones and gadgets usually reach autumn.
Finally, we are expecting a major update to Google’s XR efforts. The company performed Android XR last year, and we are handcuffed with its AI -driven smart glasses. Android XR has brought Gemini’s chat boot -style sound conversation to a set of springs and added a ship camera for computer vision. The project called Code Mohan, we expect where these glasses are in their developmental cycle, and when they will be available for everyone to try.
