The auto detection and filling feature saves time in apps and will be appreciated by those who prefer to come to the websites in Chrome, especially those who do not have apps.
“And yes, many users consider this verification option unsafe, but many sites still use it, so Google wants to make the process easier to fill these codes,” Leopio 64 added in a comment on his post.
He said that this feature is available in the “Canary Version”, but has not yet been changed.
