    • Samsung has launched a new gaming monitor, Odisi OLED G6
    • Monitor is the first 500 Heritz OLED option in the market
    • It will be available in other areas later this year

Samsung’s ODC lineup includes some of the best gaming monitors available in the market, many of which are OLEDs for experienced experiences – and another has been added to the list.

As Videovards reported, Samsung launched the world’s first 500 Herz Gaming Monitor. Odyssey OLED G60SF, which contains incredibly high 500Hz refresh rate and 27 -inch display in 2,560 x 1,440 resolution.

Videovards say it will cost $ 1,488 (about 1,120 / AU $ 2,320). It is currently available only in some countries in Asia, but it is expected that other regions will be joined later this year.

Odyssey OLED G60SD current model is available but instead uses 360Hz refresh rate. The new OLED G60SF pushes it to 500Hz, while the VESA display offers a true black 500 display with a peak of 1000 nits – a step above the shine of 250 nits of the G60SD.

It is worth noting that Samsung recently announced that he intends to introduce cheap OLED monitor, but is not the case with the new OLED G6. This is a monitor that should appeal the first person’s shooter gamers, especially sports The counter strike – But in addition to using tools like NVIDIA frame generation, there are very few games that can reach the frame rate (or cleanly, not sports) even the best PC hardware available.

I will keep on normal refresh rates, thanks …

Although there is no harm in providing high 500Hz refresh rate, especially for browsing and sports that are able to reach high high frame rates, the price of $ 1,488 is otherwise said. After using a handful of monitors with different refresh rates over the years, I assure you, you don’t Is required A 500Hz Monitor.

With my alien ware AW3423DWF OLED monitor, 165hz is all right and is a sweet place for high -end gaming. Some can also argue that 144Hz or 120Hz is more than enough. The reason for this is that the difference between them is not so important to take your notice – unless you jump directly to any of these people directly from the 60Hz.

The most impressive feature with the new Odyssey OLED G6 is the VESA certification in fact, because if you are upgrading from the LED display, the display HDR Truck Black 500 and 1,000 nuts of peak brightness will revive your gaming experience.

However, there are many cheap options for OLEDs in the market that can do the same, but just without a funny high refresh rate. I call me crazy, but I don’t see the price of 500hz refresh rate monitor for gaming …
