Samsung chose less important virtual announcement for the Galaxy S25 Edge this week after a new ultra -thin phone for the Galaxy S25 without a packed event. Of course there is a lot of resonance around this thin phone, but the final version will need to silence criticism about its trade relationships if it has no possibility of the phone’s best contender.
I had the opportunity to check what my Galaxy S25 Edge Hand On is all hype, pointing out how this super thin phone is so expensive. But now that I have a phone and spend 24 hours with it, I can appreciate the galaxy S25 age offer.
Obviously, I can’t take all the magnificent engineering that goes into the designing of the phone that is thin – because very clearly – today’s flagship phones are constantly growing large and heavy. Here are my views with the Galaxy S25 Edge, both good and bad.

There is no hiding here – the Galaxy S25 Edge’s impressive thin quickly draws my attention more than anything. In the first set of pictures above the Galaxy S25 ultra, you can see how the titanium trim S25 is smaller than the Ultra, of which both phones are flat on the surface.
For some reason, though, I don’t feel so fascinating with this engineering achievement. Probably because the edge is the Galaxy S. 25 ultra -wide and wide?
When I think of devices that emphasize their thin on other gadgets, I often remind me how I felt about the original Motorola Razr since 2004 and as a result IPod Nano -2005. Those gadgets were revolutionary to express their slim on other competitive gadgets, but I do not feel the same with the Galaxy S25 Edge here. This is not a revolution, it is just a moderate improvement.
Now if my Galaxy Z Fold was thin from 6 to half when it opens, we are talking revolutionary – but not so.
Super lightweight and strong

I am really affected by the weight of the Galaxy S25 Edge, because when it is more prominent when holding my hand. Yes, it is still too big and impossible to use one hand easily, but when the Galaxy S25 feels lightweight than the ultra.
I have dropped a lot of phones on my face and feet, and let me tell me that they can hurt. The Galaxy S25 Edge gives all other flagships a feeling of overweight, and to feel how light it is. That’s all you know, the Galaxy S25 Age Scale indicates 163 grams – while the S25 ultra weighs 216 grams.
At the same time, the S25 edge feels incredibly strong with its titanium frame. The phone can feel thin and light sometimes delicate, but the Galaxy S25 Edge has a strong construction standard as S25 ultra.
Maximum 10x zoom

I plan to take 200 images between the Galaxy S25 Edge and the Galaxy S25 ultra to see what compromise, if any, has been done with the edge. Although it shares a similar 200 MP main camera with Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Edge has a dedicated telephoto camera deficiency – so all zooming is done with the camera. On the contrary, S25 ultra has two telephoto cameras to press the zooming tell.
This damages the S25 edge as it is at the top of the 10x zoom, while the Galaxy S25 ultra uses a hybrid zoom that can reach 100x. Obviously this is a huge spread, but I quickly caught some snap shots with both phones on 10x to find out if there was a clear shortage with the S25 Edge.
A pigeon who rests on the upper part of an arcway turned my attention, so I quickly threw shots with both phones. Right now, I can see that the S25 ultra -shot is sharp and more appreciated – which you can see on its wings.
The S25 Ultra optical baked telephone camera shines bright with a shot of the top sculpture, which once again provides a considerable detail and definition.
Battery life can be a Dell Breker

Battery life is interesting because a thin phone also means that it will have to compromise with its battery, because space is a matter of luxury. This may be a problem for some people as the Galaxy S25 Edge is capable of 3,900 mAh within its Solit Frame. The Galaxy S25 stands in comparison to 5,000 MAH power packs in the S25 ultra.
With a afternoon to take different snap shots with its camera, I can already tell that the battery has dropped much more than most phones I have experienced.
Our battery benchmark test also indicates, as the S25 Edge Tom Guide battery tests run for 12 hours and 42 minutes, in which the phones surf the web until they are out of electricity. Although 2.5 hours are better than the average phone, the edge time is far from the speed set by other Samsung flagship.

In fact, the S25 Edge Galaxy S25 Plus falls 4 hours less than the mark – and the S25 spreads even wide against ultra. This is just the first pass, as we run the battery test several times. But the subsequent times will really need to be overturned if the S25 Edge has a chance to defeat the standard S25.
I am not afraid of that because I expected the results, which has a very small battery in the edge. I hope the phone can at least charge it at a relatively faster time to meet its short battery life.
Hopefully, its 25W wired charging speed can prove to me wrong, but I will feel more confident if the Galaxy S25 Edge gets 45W charging speed like the Galaxy 25 ultra.
