    Samsung launched Galaxy Earlier this week with the S25 Edge 5.8 mm thin design. The smartphone of the most thin Galaxy series has not yet reached the hands of consumers in India, but rumors about the Galaxy S26 lineup, especially the Galaxy S26 Edge model are already roaming on the web. It is said that Samsung will replace a phone in the Galaxy S26 lineup next year. The final decision to eliminate the Plus model will be taken after the Galaxy S25 Edge’s market response is reviewed.

    Samsung can add Edge Model to the Galaxy S26 series next year

    According to a report by the Korean Publication The Alec, Samsung is planning to introduce an “edge” model in its upcoming Galaxy S26 series. This new addition, which is expected to be named Galaxy S26 Age, will allegedly replace the Galaxy S26+ model from the lineup. This may be a strategic move by Samsung to smooth its flagship series.

    Samsung’s strategic move will be considered to convert traditional pulse different types into lineup based on the Galaxy S25 Edge market response. If a newly launched handset fails to attract users, Samsung can revise its decision and the Galaxy S26 lineup can maintain a different condition.

    The report states that Samsung is targeting 37.7 million units of the Galaxy S25 series this year. The company aims to sell only 6.7 million units of Galaxy S25+ as compared to 13.6 million units compared to the Galaxy S25. It is allegedly aimed at sending 17.4 million units of Galaxy S25 ultra.

    Further, the report states that Samsung, under the name of NPA, has begun the development of the Galaxy S26 family. The company is said to be producing four different OLED panels for the Galaxy S26 series.

    Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Price, specifications in India

    The Galaxy S25 Edge is currently available for pre -order in India. The price of the phone starts at Rs 500. 1,09,999 for 12 GB Ram + 256 GB storage option.

    Samsung’s Galaxy S25 runs on an UI 7 based on Edge android 15 and has a 6.7-inch quad-AD+ infinity-and dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. It runs on the Custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy chip, which is made with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

    Optics, the Galaxy S25 Edge has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 200 -megapixel primary camera and a 12 -megapixel ultra -wide camera. It is proud of a 12 megapixel selfie camera. It supports 3,900mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. It measures 158.2 × 75.6 × 5.8 mm and weighs 163 g.
