Cuttlefish is known for displaying plenty of ways to communicate. A list containing ways such as changing color and physical patterns, issuing ink for the companionship display, men who use tent moves to show offensive to other men make their communication system complicated. In France, a new research by Sophie Cohen Budins and Peter Nerry, a neuro scientist expert in Acol Normal Soprever, recommends using a wave and signal on each other to interact with Katle Fish’s tents.

    To study samples while waving

According to StudyPosted on the Borexico Pre -print server, researchers studied Common Cuttle Fish (Sepia Offsenus) and Dwarf Cuttle Fish (Sepeya Bandans), which observed four permanent arm wave gestures: “Up,” “Side,” “Roll,” and “Crown”. When videos of these gestures were shown, Cuttle Fish often replied by imitating them – especially when the footage was straight – the directional identity indicates. In addition, the movement created vibration waves in the water. Using a hydrophone, the team recorded these companies and found that Cuttlefish responded only to the original, unmanned version. This shows that the vibration setting means meaning when the visual indicators are blocked, potentially acts as a alternative to communication.

    Illness

Although the results of this study are promising, further research is still pending to describe these arm movements as real communication. Given the social nature of Cuttlefish, this movement is likely to be communicated, but more data is needed to associate specific gestures. Researchers are thinking of implementing machine learning methods to understand the meaning of the wave and developing robotic cutfish to create a copy of gestures and vibrations, which aims to better understand the potential water language.
