The first phones that run out of the box will be the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Philip 7, which will be expected in late July or early August.
Interestingly, the previous Galaxy Foldables launches with the same large UI version, as this year’s Galaxy S series (with just a modest version update). This shows that an UI 8 is more than 7 with its growth as well as at the same time last year.
Samsung is already looking forward, with the leak it is suggested that it is working on an UI 8.5 for the future Galaxy S26 series.
