    tl; drag

    • NVIDIA Shield is releasing its shield experience for TV and Shield TV Pro Devices 9.2.1.
    • This is a stable version of the 9.2 hot fix release since last month, addressing the same reforms.

The fact is that really high -end Android TV boxes have never been caught a small tragedy. We can live in a world that can live with Android -based gaming consoles in the living room, making the latest run for their money from Nintendo and Sony, all of which still offer access to our favorite streaming services. Sorry, budget price equipment is clearly winning. As we do, what can happen, we are taking a look at a rare refreshment for one of some product lines to advance this dream, with the latest Nvidia Shield TV software release.

The shield of NVIDIA, NVIDIA’s Shield TV hardware, has been at the end of some notable software updates in the last few months. A few weeks ago we found a hotfix update that had pulled some insects, but it had some important limits (such as breaking Disney+). This week nvidia Shield TV and Shield TV Pro Devices, with the release of Shield Experience 9.2.1, begins to move us towards a much more flexible construction.

This increases the release of 9.2 in February, which has many major changes:

    Upgraded apps

    • To stream sports on Nvidia GeForce, now support 1080p resolution at 120FPs. Jefforus now requires final membership.

    Solved insects

    • When the DAP is on, the night mode is released.
    • When the frame match feature is enabled, dolby vision fixes content stitches.
    • Using USB DAC fixes audio resolution of matching content.
    • Adds Back Headquarters / Maximum Option for USB audio.
    • Fix USB TV toner with direct channel app.
    • AAC 5.1 fixes playback problems in Plex when using audio.
    • After sleep or reboot, the third -party remote fixes connection issues.

If that list looks familiar, it should be, because this is the list we have seen from last month’s emergency release. The important thing here is that this is a suitable confirmed building that is not breaking the functionality for any of your series of apps, just because you have chosen to update.

Who knows how many more shields have left TV updates in it, so make sure it.
