If you have a pixel phone or tablet, look for a May 2025 software update. This month’s update includes more than just a few security fixes.
According to GoogleThis month’s update rollout begins today. If you don’t yet see an update, don’t worry too much. Depending on the rollout device and carrier, the steps are happening, and it is expected that will continue until next week.

It prevents the device from returning to the previous weak version of the boot loader. You will not be able to flash and boot the old Android 15 Bloods after shining up the May 2025 update on these devices.
