- Robot vacuums are rapidly popular, but on average, they are in use for less than two hours a day, and the rest of the time is useless.
- With some edits, you can work hard for your robot vacuum for you.
- Researchers at the University of Baths re -trained a Romba to do different works such as project videos on mobile phone chargers, walls or roofs, and more.
While some of us dream of a future where robots keep the house clean and help us cook for us, and we may not have time for other tasks, this is still a way. In addition, it can be on the path of the Scient, which will be bad news for all of us. For now, we just have robots vacuums, but you may not have the same yet and no one plans to buy. But what if these household appliances can only work more than suck?
Researchers at the University of Baths have modified a room so that they can work more than just empty. A robot vacuum, by design, is limited to the same task: cleaning floors in your home, which may include space or even moping. People who live in more than one floor house need at least two, because they (unfortunately) cannot visit the steps.
According to the study of Yoshiaki Shivwa And their partner, a robot vacuum is less than an average of less than two hours a day, and the rest is useless. In other words, your robot vacuum is slow and mostly sits around time.

This study identifies close to 100 different functions that can be performed with a Romba, or other robot vacuum brand, with some necessary adjustments. Four of these were performed during the study (Via BBC): A mobile phone charger associated with Romba that has been programmed to follow the user, an attached projector to display a workout video on a wall or ceiling, a “home monitor” with a direct video feed, and “Don’t disturb” with a “home monitor”, and geographical location programming.
One of the other tasks suggested in the study was to bring the grocery into the kitchen. Such tasks will require extra gear, such as a cart or even robotic arm.
Now this is especially a bit far away, because we have seen that robots fail with simple things around the house, such as carpets, shoes or wires, or-gallps-if a pet has an accident if there is an accident. I could not imagine any room in his present state to do anything like this.

In the study, some other concepts of tasks include an attachment to planting plants at home, or adding a laser pointer to the robot can provide entertainment to the cat. They are a bit more proud, especially cat One, though I believe some cats have already been entertained through robotic vacuums. Nevertheless, we have seen cat videos where they go to the house for Jaeeride, okay?
In fact, the idea and the concept itself is interesting. But I have a hard time seeing a robot that has a difficult time with its basic function in minor discomfort, at least at this time a reliable multi -tasker. We should expect more from our robot, yes, but maybe there is no one who is useless and trapped in accordance.
