Apple’s flagship wear wearing an expected annual Cidenus, but its budget -based SE line has been less permanent. Since 2022, a more affordable smart watch offer has not been updated. The new supply chain Intel now suggests that Apple Watch SE’s third -generation Apple Watch is in the pipeline for release later this year.
Analyst Ross Ying Have identified the new display components that enter the production that are likely to be linked to the incoming SE model, as combined 9TO5MAC. The display is allegedly measuring 1.6 and 1.8 inches, which are closely aligned with 41 mm and 45 mm case size used in the Apple Watch Series 9 lineup. For context, Apple collided with 10 to 42 mm and 46 mm series in 2024, which means that SE 3 will maintain clear physical discrimination from the flagship line, while still offering more screen real estate than the previous SE.
From a hardware point of view, it is unclear whether the SE 3 S9 SIP (used in Series 9 and Ultra 2) will adopt a new internal or stick to an old chip like the S8 found in the current SE. Similarly, support is always uncertain. In the past, it was allocated for high -end models, but this increase will help the SE line to stay competitive with the OS rivals wearing this price location. In keeping with basic health and fitness tracking capabilities, the budget friendly line has historically reduced costs, excluding premium features (such as advance sensors).
Despite the initial manufacturing signals, Apple is unlikely to deviate from its standard autumn release window. We expect the Watch SE3 to debut with Series 11 later this year, potentially run out of the box completely out of the box.
