Chrome cast with Google TV is no longer available, but that doesn’t mean Google is abandoning it. In fact, a new update fell in March, which brought Android 14 to the popular streaming dongle. Now, Google’s former streamer is picking up a complimentary home panel from his preir successor, Google TV stream.
Earlier, the home panel was limited to users who joined the Google Home Public Preview program. Then, in October last year, Google started sending it to some smart TV. Now, Google is making the home panel more widely available on Chrome cast, as well as Google TV and other Google TV -powered devices and smart TV.
So, what is the home panel exactly? Introduced with Google TV streams, this is an easy but powerful addition. The home panel allows you to control your smart home devices from your TV. It photographs Google Home app’s favorite tab, which gives you access to lights, cameras, smart speakers and more.
