Netflix has been examining a renewed version of its TV app since last year, and it seems that the trial run was a success. Yes, streaming giant is eventually giving green light to its fresh look.
Company Officially confirmed That the new TV experience is on its way and Apple TV users will be the first person to receive it. From the beginning of the weeks, members around the world will need to try the latest TV homepage, which packs many interesting changes.
New Netflix TV experience is still what you know and love.
– Younus Kim, Chief Product Officer in Netflix, May 2025
This is more than just a cosmetic update. Netflix is correcting how the content is offered to help users find their next benchwatch watch with faster and less clicks. For starters, the new layout keeps the key information front and center – things like “#1” in TV shows or “Emmy Award -winning” things will now be more visible to help you decide what to see without digging through the menus. Looking and the shortcuts of my list are no longer buried. Netflix is moving them to the top of the screen so you can go to them without having to worry. Also, expect real-time recommendations that adapt to your current mood and preferences-not just what you saw last week. In addition, the homepage now has a more modern, polished feeling, which has a cleaner setting.

In fact, the mobile app is also getting a correction, not yet. Netflix is examining a new search experience driven by Generative AI, starting with iOS. It is a small opt for now for now and allows users to find with comfortable sentences like “I want some funny and excited.”

I want to know how it will play, honestly, I have always enjoyed the old school of stumbling on a semen during browsing. There is something satisfactory about the unexpected discovery and I am not sure that the AI will occupy the same charm. But we will see.

And soon another test is underway: a ticket -style vertical feed full of short clips from shows and movies. You will be able to scroll, tap to see immediately, save on my list or share with friends. All this is about making the discovery faster and easier.
