- Samsung is limiting some new UI 7 features, such as AI Audio Ezar, to the flagship of the new Galaxy S series.
- A Reddest user has alleged that many of these “special” features work well after porting them on the old Galaxy S33 hardware.
- Due to this, the plan has been accused of being obsolete because consumers ask why the old phones are leaving.
For the Galaxy S25 series, most of the Samsung’s pitch software revolves around AI smart, as the hardware was barely the year for the year. An UI 7 Galaxy S25 series brought several new features, and large Samsung Flagship users were waiting for a twisted breath to update the platform to bring these features. However, in ordinary Samsung fashion, the company has some features such as the Galaxy S25 flagship series now short. As it turns out, this is not all, because old flagships have many features that their hardware can cooperate, but Samsung did not just port them.
Lockout of Samsung feature for old flagship
Reddit user Tyrysodian The Galaxy S33 series expressed regret over the lockout of the Samsung feature and termed it a “mushroom -level fraud”. The user has a good reason to be angry, because they claim that they have presented the Galaxy S25’s One Rome to the Galaxy S33 to test the latest “special” features, just to find that Samsung has not really been kept back by bringing these features to the Galaxy S32 series.
Samsung has not comprehensively included in the list of which new UI 7 features are missing from the old devices and why. The company partially shared this information to the extent One of the UI 7 camera features that are coming to old devices. Even then, you can see that many high -profile camera features are closed on phones released within the previous year But not old flagships.
As a result, the Reddate user went around in porting and testing several new features and found that they work well on the Galaxy S32 series.
Ai Audio Arizer on the Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung released amazingly great AI audio -ezer toll with an UI 7 on the Galaxy S25 series, but increased its feature in the Galaxy S24 series with a UI 7 update. However, this feature did not make it in the Galaxy S33 series.
The Reddate user ports the audio Ezar Module on its Snapdragon 8 General 2 Power Galaxy S33 Ultra, and it looks like it works to a great extent. The user took action on the 1080p video with the noise of the road, and did so within five seconds, without any accident or break, allegedly provided a crisp output.
Log video
The Galaxy S25 series was launched with log video support, and the Galaxy S24 series received it through an UI 7. But the Galaxy S33 series is left behind.
The Reddate user ports the log video camera format. He then shot a 4K video in the log, and his Galaxy S33 Ultra took it “like a winner”.
Motion Photo
The Galaxy S25 series supports motion photo, which receives a 1.5 -second video before and after taking a picture. Samsung increased this feature with an UI 7 in the Galaxy S24 series, but not in the other old S -flagship.
The Reddest user activated motion photos through ROM adaptation, which he says also worked as expected.
Samsung Health: AI-Running Health Insight
With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung Health may process data collected with AI to provide health insights, such as personal sleep indicators or exercise opportunities. This feature works with the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S24 series.
The user forced the Health Assist module to run on its Galaxy S33 ultra, gave it sleep and steps, and according to the user, Samsung Health immediately offered personal points.
Photo The Wallpaper
Uses photo wallpaper AI to dynamically adjust your wallpaper on time and weather basis. This is an UI 6.1.1 feature that launched with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and was sent to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy S24 series, but not in the Galaxy S32 series. The general theory is still standing here: Samsung is artificially locking old flagships with the features he can still support.
The user seed the wallpaper engine on its Galaxy S30 ultra, and apparently presented the dynamic wallpaper “flawlessly”, with weather -ups every 10 minutes.
Is there just another step in being an UI 7 Update Plan Planning?

The Reddest user continues its impact by accusing Samsung of being obsolete, and argues that Snapdragon 8 General 2 processor has enough horse power to handle these features in the Galaxy S23 series. The user has also alleged that the Galaxy S25’s “Snapdragon 8 General 4” (SIC) now has “20 % better NPU”. However, I have to step here to tell that the Galaxy S25’s Snapdragon 8 Elite has been claimed that 8 General 3 to 45 % is better NPU, resulting in 8 general 2 to 42 % better performance – so the number is quite closed. Nevertheless, Snapdragon 8 General 2 remains a capable processor.
We have contacted Samsung to comment on the matter, hoping to find out why the company has limited some of these UI features to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series. We will continue to update you when we learn more.
