An Apple Watch Series 10 users review their app library

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

As a new parent, I have discovered that my Apple Watch is the lowest thing (in addition to an espresso machine). It is like a small, wearing command center strapped into my wrist, we only hardly ahead of the chaos organized, connected, and chaos. I use my smart watch to handle my new roommate below.

    1. Noise app

An Apple Watch user checks the volume of your environment from the noise app.

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

Starting firmly with the noise app, Apple Watch is amazingly clutch when trying to establish a safe sleepy environment. The more charming that all the domestic voices have to be drowned so that the baby can sleep, there are limits on how loud the sound machine should be. I use a noise app to protect my baby on the volume of safety from my baby to protect these small ears (below 50 dimbles). Flip side, it is always disappointing when you get a noise alert because the newborn is crying on your face.

    2. Alarm and sleep tracking

In a joint bedroom with an occupied residential, silent, hippoc, only alarm is the most important thing in my life. My Apple Watch Alarm is the only way to make sure that when I take time to produce bottles, squeeze coffee, or stare quietly in the dark, I just wake up. In the meantime, sleep tracking is less about improvement and more about evidence. It is a confirmation and strange satisfactory to find out how little you are sleeping during this “magical” time. (SPOILER: It’s not much.)

    3. Organizational apps (reminder, calendar, timer)

Children have more scheduled events and dose than a floor manager. From feeding to nap, vitamin D doses, from doctor’s appointments, are small maintenance of high care, and I will get all kinds of help to get to be organized. Apple Watch describes the length of the arm, which doesn’t mean I will be on time, but at least I will know that I’m running late.

    4. Staying of activity and fitness

An Apple Watch shows a users struggling activity ring.

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

I will be the last person who urged any new parents to revise their fitness goals outside the gate, but certainly have real benefits (both mental and physical) to stay active. Even when my regular fitness routine is on the pause, the clock activity ring gives me a bit to move, whether it be a freshly rotating walk or 47 midnight trip to the baby to catch the gold toleel for the baby.

    5. Do not disturb and the methods of focus

As much as I appreciate Grandma’s fee time, newborns do not need disturbances with information or calls while feeding naps or food. Focus modes temporarily shut down the world, when a wrongdoing can cost a whole hour (and plenty of my seriousness) of my life. Do not bother to protect the delicate, tough winning moments of peace.

    6. Third -party apps

An Apple Watch Series shows 10 app library.

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

One of Apple Watch’s biggest power is its unprecedented third -party app support. From the child’s monitor to the logs, and from my watch, there is a wild world of baby -based apps, and that means I can input or check any fumblum for my phone. When I make an actual far -flung dive between the sofa cushion, I am also a hobby of a remote app to control the TV.

    7. Find my friends

Don’t raise a voice like a sticker, but it is comforting to know where your partner is, especially when they are running a solo run to target (which, because, be honest, a time warp). Apple Watch makes it easy to see if they are almost at home or are still looking for size 1 diaper in the singer’s 12.

    8. Find my iPhone/Control Center Ping feature

An Apple Watch user's iPhone finds alert to my phone.

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

Likewise, when I’m not looking for my partner, I’m definitely looking for my phone. Whether it is buried under the laundry, lost in the glider, or somehow in my own pocket, the ping tool protects me from many daily crisis.

    9. Siri, messaging, calls and notifications

An Apple Watch user sets the timer using Siri.

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

Hands -free communication is a game changer when my arm is full of baby (or baby gear). Siri sets my timer. I answer the calls exclusively from my wrist. I also reject the information I vowed to disable, and warned the group chat that never ends, without need to remove your phone (because let’s be honest, where is my phone?). Meanwhile, using my watch means a shorter screen for small, which can see the retina display from 20 feet away.

    10. Apple Pay

Whether I had mistakenly left home without my wallet, or I don’t want to dig into my diaper bag’s valley to find it, the contract lace payment helps work (read: Coffee runs) is very smooth. The outout can already feel like an Olympic game that will have children with the baby, Apple’s salaries have removed from a few obstacles.

    11. Map

From the baby walking to sleeping, from the change of scenes to break the day, the maps are my ride or dye companions for the endless carousel of the rotating tracks. I use it to navigate new palaces, find shade parks, and find the nearest take -out places that I can kill while going home.

    12. Photo Watch Face

The user's Apple Watch shows the face of the photo watch.

    Catlin Semino / Android Authority

Because keeping all sarcasm aside, I am a huge fan of my new small roommate. I have about 7.4 million images to use, and the photo watch face is the best medium. Keeping the face of their smiling (or sticking) on my wrist is a small, pleasant reminder of why sleep is eliminated.
