Roko announced today (May 1st) that the streaming platform is Buying streaming service.
This is another feather in the Rocko cap, which takes a big year with the new streaming devices and features coming up in 2025.
The Frendli TV service is a relative newborn, founded in 2019, out of Denver, Colorado. Frendley provides its customers with more than 50 direct TV channels access, including A&E, history channels, life -time, and game show network. It also comes with on -demand content and recording, which begins $ 6.99/a month with unlimited cloud -based DVR.
“Direct TV’s impressive growth and direct consumer membership services,” said Roko’s founder and CEO Anthony Wood, in a press release. He added that Rao is part of the focus on expanding the direct content offering platform of Frendley TV.
Frendley has made itself “the most affordable direct TV streaming service in the United States.” Based on this, the channels we can find at the offer are all that offer “good programming”.
Currently, Friendly TV is available on several platforms, including Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV, Apple TV, Samsung, Visio, and Roko. Roko says he will “be available” in these places.
“We believe that this collection will help us to accelerate the growth of subscriptions, given the leading position in the basic customer demographics and the associated TV ecosystem.”
What we can tell, the subscription ranks that offer TVs will not change. Currently, the service offers three levels of subscription. Basic, classical and premium. The basic level you get directly with TV on SD Quality Video and Demand Offer. The level of classic (99 7.99/month) is HD, two “simultaneous screens” and three months of unlimited DVR recording. Premium (999.99/month) receives 9 -month DVR recording and four simultaneous screens.
Every channel offered service is available at every level.
This is an exciting achievement because Roku already offers a number of direct channels along with the rotating selection of free shows and movies and Roko Organals, which can be streamed on the best Rocko devices.
However, now, Rocko does not offer any DVR type services. He said, it is not clear from the Roco’s press release how the frind will be connected with the stop service beyond the current app that is already available.
