Anchor Mars II Pro is a beautiful, small portable projector.

    Jeffrey Morrison/CNE

The Nebula Mars II Pro is amazing Portable Money Projector. And I mean a little. It is so small to completely hide under the six packs of the coke. Bullet with them Streaming And a battery is good for about three and a half hours of projection, Mars II Pro is a great partner in the backyard of the house or somewhere else. And besides being a projector, it is also a big Bluetooth speaker.

    Like

    • Compact size

    • Built -in battery lasts 3.5 hours

    • Surprisingly louder speaking

    Don’t like

    • Worse and vice versa from domestic projectors

    • The wrong color

    • Limited App Store

    • Need to charge a brick

The quality of the video would be good enough for many viewers, but compared to a similar price Home Projector On the contrary, with proportion and color accuracy, it is very dim. However, compared to other small, battery -powered projectors, this image is very worth seeing and the speaker looks amazingly powerful.

The biggest reason for getting Mars II Pro is that if you want highly portable video, especially outdoors. Keeping a wall or screen near and within a few minutes, it is easy to stream the net flix. If you plan to use it regularly in the same room inside, however, you will probably be better with more traditional projectors.

Editor’s note, December 1: Due to its performance, size and price, we are giving the Selection of our editors to the Nebula Mars II Pro as our favorite portable projector. Although there are portable mini projectors that are bright and easy to use, those who improve this ginner – such as Xgimi Hello Plus – Even more expensive. Mars II Pro is a huge projector for price.

    Primary sugary

    • Native Resolution: 1,280×720 Pixels
    • According to HDR: No
    • According to 4K: no
    • According to 3D: No
    • Lumens SPEC: 500
    • Zoom: none
    • Lens Shift: None
    • Lamp Life (Normal Mode): 30,000 hours

Mars II Pro is younger than you think. It will easily fit inside any bag that has enough space to save a water bottle, hoodie or camera. The sprout could make the strap taken from cheap fueling plastic, but it has a wrong leather on the top and is soft under it. It was nice to touch.

There are button above for all basic functions, but there is no control for zoom or focus. This is logical because there is no zoom here and the focus is automatic. An integrated slide open lens cap also turns off the projector.

To get a 100 -inch image, Mars II Pro needs to be about nine feet from the screen. The resolution is 720p, which is very low for a projector these days and less than competition Vivsnak M2Which is 1080p. LED lamp rating is 30,000 hours.

The maximum brightness is a claim of 500 limbs. I measured about 37 KnotsWhich calculates about 33 337 lemons. For comparisons, Viusnic M2 produces 349 lemons by my measure, while slightly more expensive, but far less portable, Optoma HD146x Keeps out close to 1,146.

Ankar claims that the internal 12,500-MAH battery is good for about three and a half hours to see time, and to re-compensate about it. If you keep it in a high brightness mode, it falls for an hour and a half. If you are only using Mars II as a Bluetooth speaker, the sword only claims for 30 hours for audio playback.

Although not specifically mentioned as the spleen feature, some apps offer Mars II Pro as a mobile device, you can really download shows on its 8GB of internal storage.

    Contacts and convenience

    • HDMI inputs: 1
    • USB Port: 1
    • Audio input and output: 3.5 mm output
    • Digital Audio Output: None
    • Wi-fi: 802.11A/b/g/n
    • Remote: Back Lat not

There is an HDMI input, which is sufficient on such a projector. The USB port allows you to stream content from the USB memory stick, or you can charge a device (such as your phone) using the Mars II Pro’s Beefi battery.

It is for physical contacts, which is in addition to the power port, which requires separate power brick. It’s a boomer: I’m a hard liner “Everything should be charged via portable USB.” If you want to take the projector away from home, you will also have to pack a brick.

Mars II Pro runs Android 7.1 runs, which is capable of all streams within PJ. So you just need to teacher to the projector on your phone or connect some of the available Wi -Fi.

However, or even, you don’t get a full Play Store of Google Android TV. Instead, it is OptideA total or manufactured version of the Play Store. This view is a bit of a responsibility with Sonic M2, and here it is not good. There are Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney Plus and others that you can identify or not. There is hbo nordic and hbo go, but nobody is we HBO or not HBO Max. Chromecast Not supported. Overall it is not bad, but you may not be able to find every service you have a habit.

The remoteweef is thin, but not back. That’s fine because you probably won’t use it. Instead, the ankar connect app is (Android And iOS), Which is easily connected and does the same thing. In fact, some apps actually need the app. Control in the projector’s menos works fine, but for example, it is a bit complicated in the Netflix app. There is no major problem, but it can be smooth.

There are two side firing in the front 10 watts of speakers and one rectangular inactive radiator. It’s not much like it, but it’s quite loud and the quality of the sound is better than I expected with such a small device. This is one of the few projectors I have in fact Beneath To achieve normal listening levels.

Compare the quality of the image

I compared Mars II Pro with Visnik M2, another portable projector, and Optoma HD 146 X, the traditional plugin PJ. The M2 is very similar to the sprouts, the battery can run and also operates apps from the epitoid store. Optoma is a very different projector, and a direct competitor in one sense: price.

I have a feeling that Mars II supporters can attract the attention of someone who is not generally interested in projectors, so optoma is here as an example of what you can get in a non -portable, standard projector. I attached them through a monopresy 1×4 distribution amplifier and saw everyone on the 102 -inch 1.0 -Gain screen.

The top look with the strap carrying

    Jeffrey Morrison/CNE

The first is the shine. M2 and Mars II are significantly the same. The consequences of their light and vice versa are basically the same. In both cases, this money is “okay”. Considering their ability to run size and batteries, around 300 lemons are acceptable. When you create a 100 -inch picture that is equal to about 37 nits. This is enough to see, despite the image. You are better than moving the swimmer, which will make a small but bright image.

On the other hand, the optoma is more bright than one. On the same size screen I measured more than 127 nits, which is five times brighter than Mars II. Optoma is worth seeing a lot at 100 inches. And if you use the highest color of the Optoma, it is still brighter than the other two.

And we definitely need to talk about color. In Mars II Pro, any projector has the least accurate colors that I have ever reviewed. Is the only color of blue Three primary and three secondary colors That’s right. The green is over. Not yellow but there is enough green yellow. The mergenta is mostly and very blue. The result looks like you have found colorful control from where something is tired. It’s not strange, and overall it still looks better than M2, but overall it is a faster racer than the Grand Bodapest Hotel.

Along with the optoma, night and day. Or at least the technical and Kodhom. Optoma itself is not correct, and makes mistakes by being in fact undercover, but its colors look far more natural than the sprouts.

Unlike Optoma, Mars II does not have a wide range of pictures. There are two. You can adjust Colorful temperature: Ordinary, cool and warm, and even extremely accurate (hot) is still very cool. You can adjust the lamp settings: standard, battery and auto. The standard is the brightest. The battery is dim but you get more than three hours of view time. Auto depends on the switches between two other methods whether the projector is plugged in. Just No shine, on the contrary, not color. One result is that you cannot adjust to restoring clipped details in bright whites.

The opposite ratioLike shine, is acceptable in view of the category. I measured on average 354: 1 in all methods. It seems less, and that is, but the majority of the $ 1,000 projector is just two or three times. The high end of this performance range, the Bank HT2050A is 2,094: 1. View Sonic is basically the same as the sword, 376: 1. Optoma is 568: 1.

The image of ankle lacks cartoon but not as much as you can. In fact, because the black surface of the swimmer is slightly less than M2, it looks slightly better. The M2 is very bright, which is not noticeable. That black surface is less than optoma, but this projector is so bright that the edge is not relevant.

Finally we come in detail. Both M2 and HD146x have 1080p in anchor 720p. This is the most notable on the 100 -inch screen if you are close enough to see individual pixels, which are large enough. If you shrink the image to 60-80 inches, it seems so detailed that it does not look soft.

    Conclusion

In fact, I was not expecting more than Mars II Pro. I have mostly wandered with battery -powered portable projectors that I have reviewed. I have also found that when it comes to projectors, video gear companies lose some important things. For example, image quality.

Overall, I am impressed that the Encker has received a lot with the supporter of Mars II. At least when the price, size and battery strength are classified on curves. On average, every performance comes short in matriculation than a domestic projector, so if you are looking for something that will never get away from a shop, you will be better with more “traditional” projectors. But if you want a portable to watch the movies outside, Mars II Pro is an excellent design, it looks good, easy to use and it is worth seeing more than Visnic M2 – all of this for less money.
