Google is said to be on the way to attacking the contract with Apple to bring Gemini merger into the iPhone. According to a report, the move will make Gemini available as an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant option on Apple’s devices, which will help to provide a response to indigenous voice -based assistants, Siri, more complex questions. Although the deal has not yet been fully agreed, it has been reported that there has already been a number of talks between the CEO of the two tech Behemoths, and if everything comes in line, the gym can be available on the iPhone by the end of the year.
Gemini integration on iPhone
Stuffy Reports Sunder Pachai, CEO of this alphabet, confirmed Google’s ambitions for bringing ancestral gymnasium integration to the iPhone during the hearing of the Google Search monopoly trailer on Wednesday. When asked about the rumor contract, Pachai named it “correct” and shared details about Apple’s CEO Tim Cook about his meeting.
“They (kicks) were trying to understand our plans how we were developing AI Technologies, our roadmap, adding that the two CEOs also discussed the” Gemini app distribution plans, “he said during the hearing.
The CEO of the alphabet noted that Google hopes to deal with Apple to bring gymnasium integration into the iPhone by the middle of this year, and that rollout can begin by the end of 2025. It is expected to be the same as the current chat GPT integration in Siri, which was introduced last year with iOS18. Fully opt -in option, it enables Siri to write text, create photos, or answer complex questions with the help of an open chat boot.
According to the report, Cook also told Pachai that more third -party AI models will be available on Apple Intelligence later this year.
However, this is not the first time Apple plans to introduce another AI model on the iPhone. During the Kent session in WWD in June 2024, Craig Federgi, Senior Vice President of Apple, allegedly pointed to the Gemini integration plans in Sri.
The official said at the time, “We want to enable users to finally choose models that choose Google Gemini in the future.”
Moreover, Macromers’ analyst Aaron Peris also discovered the code from the iOS 18.4 son, which included Google under the “third -party model” section window, indicating that the Apple operating system was working to connect Gemini AI models.
