Samsung and GSMA have sought mutual cooperation to improve connectivity on the Samsung Galaxy branded handsets. The company’s phones are running on Android 15 with an UI 7 skin with the volume, now with the voice over LTE (VOLTE) features will be enabled by default in auxiliary areas. Currently, users need to manually activate Volte contact on auxiliary devices, so the decision to enable the feature must ensure that it is accessible to many users. It is said that Volte Support for Smartphones improves voice call quality and both 4G and 5G network connectivity. Volte availability through a network provider or region may vary.

Samsung Galaxy phones with a UI 7 now support VOLTE

GSMA and Samsung Announced On Wednesday, a partnership that allows the Samsung Galaxy phones to ship with Android 15 or after Default. It is expected that when the handsets are connected to 4G and 5G networks, it will improve the quality of the sound call.

Most of the Galaxy branded smartphones introduced in the past few years, including the recently launched the Galaxy S25 series. However, users need to manually activate it. The move to enable this standard is important as most telecom operators are starting to go away from 2G and 3G networks in favor of 4G and 5G contacts.

GSMA says that Samsung uses its network settings Exchange (NSX) and Interplastic Testing services, which allow Walt to be automatically enabled. Companies claim that auxiliary phones use default in IMS settings by Operator by NSX or when necessary, GSMA Profile #4. “

According to GSMA, NSX is a central platform that standards distribution of mobile network settings in device manufacturers (OEMS) from operators worldwide. It enables mobile network operators (MNOS) and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOS) to upload, manage and allocate their latest network settings.

Using GSMANSX, network operators can share specific IMS -related settings with device manufacturers to guarantee the benefits and cooperation of service. Each operator can also be prepared in advance based on a joint network settings.

On the other hand, the GSMA extended interpartide testing service offers a suit of “verification tools” that “ensures operator-device compatibility for VOLTE before trade deployment.” The company added that Samsung has “combined its testing behavior with the GSMA Standard volt testing method,” which shows the importance of industry’s wider cooperation.
