OPPO has added a new member to its A6 series, dubbed the OPPO A6X, which comes in 4G and 5G variants.

The most notable difference between the 4G and 5G models of the OPPO A6X is the chipset. The 4G version (CPH2819) is powered by the Snapdragon 685 SOC, while the 5G version (CPH2823) packs a 6300 SOC under the hood.

Rest of the specs are same. Both models run Claros 15 and come with a 6.75″ HD+ 120Hz LCD with 1,125 nits brightness (HBM) and glove touch support. They pack a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 5W reverse wired charging support.

The 5G model of the OPPO A6X supports 45W charging, but the 4G version has no fast charging support. Moreover, Oppo has listed the A6X 4G with a monochrome camera at the rear, but has not shared any details about the secondary rear camera on the A6X 5G.

Other highlights of the 4G and 5G models of the OPPO A6X include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP64 rating.

The Oppo A6X 4G comes in Ice Blue and Plum Purple colors with three memory options – 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB. Its base model is available for purchase in Malaysia through OPPO’s official website, priced at RM399.
