Vivo held a big Chinese event this week, announcing the new Origins 6 and X300 series in the X300 and X300 Pro. Origen 6 has been redesigned with a similar visual style to iOS 26 with transparent elements and a multi-layered look. Origenus 6 is here to replace Fantech OS and will get a global rollout later this month.
Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are also official for China. The Pro is your typical oversized flagship phone, while the X300 is a 6.31-inch flagship. Both feature dimension 9500 SoCs and larger batteries. Both the phones may also be available globally later. In China, the Vivo X300 starts at CNY 4,399 ($620) for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the X300 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 ($45,745) for the same configuration.
The Vivo X300 lineup also packs larger batteries and runs Android 16 based on Origen 6.

The new version is sleeker than before, no more Fantchos.

At 200mm focal length with an extra zoom lens, the Vivo X300 Pro can be a great camera.
Oppo’s Find X9 series is also official. This includes the X9 Pro and X9, and both use the same Dimension 9500 SoC as the Vivos. Both OPPO X9 units pack 7,000mAh batteries – 7,025mah for the X9, 7,500mah for the X9 Pro. The Find X9 has a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro has a 6.78-inch screen.
The Find X9 series is up for pre-order in China. Prices start at CNY 4,400 ($20,620) for the base model 12/256GB X9, and CNY 5,300 ($745) for the X9 Pro. Oppo will soon detail a possible global rollout.
The 6mm thin Moto X70 Air is also official. It has a 6.7-inch screen, 4,800mAh battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and weighs only 159 grams. The phone will come to China first.

The two new models — one 6.59″ and one 6.78″ — also have much larger batteries than their predecessors.

The phone is drop resistant and is rated IP69. It supports 68W fast wired and 15W wireless charging.

It’s a nice panel with a lower resolution.
The China-exclusive Samsung W26 is now official as the Zfold 7’s distant cousin, and like previous W-series releases, it comes with some minor cosmetic changes and a more premium unboxing experience. Good packaging and extras come at a premium as the W26 starts at CNY 16,999 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version, which is equivalent to 2,390.
Meanwhile, the Nubia Z80 Ultra is coming on October 22.

It also gets 16GB of RAM as standard.

The brand also shared some sample images.

The event gave us the industry’s first mass-produced liquid cooling system ahead of the Red Magic 11 series debut.

Some smartphones are receiving the update in India, while others are welcoming it in South Korea, but the rollout should expand to other countries soon.
