While there are many excellent standing desk brands out there with several models of different sizes and weight capabilities with several models. The purpose of the virgin is to introduce a frame to consumers to make it easier at the price of $ 430 (writing time).
With a 120kg classified load, regular work from the domestic environment should be more than enough to throw it on it.
Vernal Standing Desk: Inboxing
The desk came as expected in two parts, a large heavy box for the frame and very flat for desktop.
The frame was well boxed with all parts of the protective foam, cardboard and plastic. All the collective accessories were clearly packed in a box. Patch, tools, etc. were in plastic bandular, each section with size and part number.
In all parts of the desk, those who identified each part were good, large and more importantly low -tech stickers. This allowed the parts to easily identify and terminate the label post assembly without which this horrific sticky remains were left.
The desktop was packed well with large rubber -like corner guards. We chose to go with a desktop of 120 cm X 60 cm walnut pieces, which is the smallest size on a versional offer.
You also find a good, premium feeling batch wood coaster.
Vernal Standing Desk: Assembly
The desk assembly was equally easy. The Vernament provided all the necessary tools, namely an M6 Elan wrench and Philips Head screwdriver, so if you do not have the tools at all, you can still keep the desk with it. We had power tools to make the assembly significantly faster.
It was incredibly clear and easy to follow like a large book. We start the desktop together with both legs, side and growing brackets together. At the top of the Vernaal desk, the already -threaded metal admissions have already been shown that the growing bracket is to damage.
It easily increases a set of legs on one side, then finally slips into the opposing side legs before sliding cross bars and sliding it down. The Vernament also provided separate instructions for the non -Verinal desktops as well as the patch.
I chose to keep the control panel on the left and from here I noted the first problem. The patches look short, they are only 15 mm long. The control panel bracket is quite thicker, I measured the screw against it, I saw that only the tip, its about 5 mm, would cut it into the desk.
As expected, on my first attempt, the screw -tearing desktop -winner and the second screw failed to grip the same thing. Without any other patch provided, I had to go to my toolbox and rumors to get some tall patches.
Once the control panel was completed, it was a matter of connecting the control box, connecting the control box, connecting all the cables, cleaning the under side before covering the decorative cable cover to install clean and finally cleaning the cable tray hooks.
The feet are the last to be the last, before the opening flip, they can get a position in the center or be offset, the choice/preference is yours. I chose to get it central because I’m sure most end users want this way. The desk is then correctly turned, which to add one last touch, two hooks and decorative plates on each side.
In the last section I was a little worried, most brands provide bent to pre -mold or shape all metal parts. However, the Vernament has chosen to allow the last user to bend the cable tray along the drilling line.
While I found it easy to do this, it broke the paint on a metal sheet. I am not sure how the other will trust this part of the fear of breaking or harming this section. Fizarding on the cable tray is the last part of the assembly where it needs to go where to save the desk.
Vernal Standing Desk: In use
Over the past few weeks, the desk was put into the test by me and my wife who works exclusively. The Varnal Standing Desk was just a bigger upgrade than its small IKEA desk, in terms of real estate.
The Vernament claims that this desk should be able to lift 120kg easily with a maximum burden of 160kg. Sitting on all 100kg of my 100kg, I found out that it was slow to lift the desk, and it had to be stopped a few times under my burden. However, I did not put it against the desk because it is unusual for the office desk to carry 100kg.
There was no problem in putting the usual office equipment on it, the Vernal desk easily and quietly lifted and reducing it.
The control panel is easy to form, still provides all desired functions for going up, down and three memory functions. I like the buttons had to be physically practiced because some more trial desks will be easily triggered by brushing against the control panel. The panel can be replaced between the button -based metric and imperial measurements and other settings.
Hooks on both sides are a good feature that allows you to hang a handphone or other perifier from the desk instead of a crowd. There is a viral magnetic venti plate on the feet on each side of the desk, which apparently has two screws to hide the head. This is a sophisticated matter, but I would have preferred more domineering like black engraving instead of silver.
I was initially skeptical about the size of the cable tray because it was so large, but it was an honor for ease from all the angles of the desk.
What I was not a fan was on the desk’s feet. The feet, when there is a “decorative” plate on the ground that moves beyond the original foot, this plate is thin and more important on the surface of the stone when I found my loss.
Vernal Standing Desk: Final decision
Overall, Vernal Standing Desk is a good desk, just keeping them forward for the cost and simplicity of having a model. The assembly, large cable clean tray, headphone hooks and easy control panels make it a breeze to use it.
However, it is solely let down by the fact that the scares for the Control Panel are not adequately longing, some bending is required by the end user and the most egregiously, the toe stubbing feet of the desk.
