Letters, “A” and “I” (which you will note that I have presented you with alphabet), when done properly, smartphone buyers mean that. Google and Samsung have not written AI checks that their phones cannot cash. Apple did this with the disappointing move of Apple Intelligence AI.
Where Apple has gone wrong with Siri, Google has worked out fine with Gemini
Where Apple was wrong is the place where Google went well. For those of you who have used Google’s Gemini app, Openi’s chat GPT, or AI chat box apps, it is so clear that they are the future of digital assistant. Google is a beginning as it is converting Google Assistant to Gemini. I am using Gemini as an assistant in my Pixel 6 Pro, and I like it. It answers with the answers to my questions that allow you to take a deep dive if you want. The AI chat is much more than the box that you want to answer. I wouldn’t really say that Google, Samsung, or Apple have done a good job to promote these other capabilities. However, Google has released a teaser that reveals some of the features of AI already available on Pixel phones that will still be available for the Pixel 10 series. I think it’s really a teaser. It starts with a question that is forced to think: “What if your phone can’t call another?”
