IOS 26 and iPados 26 are coming in this fall, which has brought great upgrades to your iPhone and iPad operating system. A beautiful cool option available on both is visual update, called liquid glass-this is like a better-driven version of Windows Vista. We just did the test for two weeks-you can check our detailed hand on iOS 26 previews, or you can try yourself by downloading and installing public beta 2. That software is a steady repetition of a separate developer version, which recently hit the beta 6way point, and offers some other features that are not yet available in the public version. (Although the public beta is open and quite stable to everyone, but always remember that beta software is at risk of a degree.) Additionally, there are reliable reports that iOS 26 can also feature a new direct translation feature into air pods. Aren’t ready to upgrade your smartphone or tablet this year? No problem, we will help you know whether your devices will be able to operate iOS 26.

Although Apple did not add to any of its eligibility list last year, this is not the case for 2025 – this time some models are decreasing. All the iPhone 8 models and the iPhone X were the last to get the boot in 2023, and the 2018 models are behind this year. If you have a disqualified device, you will not be able to download iOS 26 when you are available this fall.

We will come down in which iPhones and iPads will support iOS 26 and iPados 26 this year. To see what is coming with the latest OSE, check out everything announced in Apple’s WWDC 9 June event. One thing you should not immediately expect is Apple’s latest version of Siri, though the company is allegedly working on the ‘Stripid Downtown’ AI Chat Boat to compete with Chat GPT.

These three will not be compatible with iPhone iOS 26

Unlike last year, many iPhone models will not be able to download the latest iOS when they start their first start in this fall. These three of the first -released models in 2018 will not come to the iOS 26 party:

    IPhones are compatible with 26

Although we do not yet know that Apple is falling this fall – even though there are iPhone 17 rumors – we know, according to Apple’s site, that the phone listed below will be compatible with iOS 26. Basically, if you have an iPhone announced in 2019 or after, you are clear: You are clear: You are clear:

    • IPhone SE (second generation or later)

    IPads are compatible with 26

The iPad below, and any iPads released this year, are eligible to download 26.

    • IPad Pro 12.9 – inches (third generation and later)

    • IPad Pro 11 – inches (first generation and later)

    • IPad Air (third generation and later, including M2 and M3)

    • IPad (eighth generation and later, including A16)

    • IPad mini (5th generation and later, including A17 Pro)

What if I don’t want to buy a new iPhone?

If you want to continue using your old iPhone that is not supported by iOS 26, that’s fine. However, you will lose security works that can potentially risk malware and other risks to your phone. In addition, some apps may stop working if they need iOS or a particular version later. And of course, you won’t be able to access the latest features offered by iOS 26.

iOS 26 When will be available?

Apple usually rolls its latest iOS in mid -September, just a few days before the new iPhone collided with the store. Last year, he released on Monday, September 16, on IOS 18. Expect to confirm the release date in the expected iPhone 17 event in early September.

iOS 26 features about whom we are passionate about

The design of the liquid glass: Your home screen is getting better with new app icons, including Dark Mode and all clean options. You will also see a new floating design button. The liquid glass was designed to make all Apple’s OSS more compatible.

Re -design to the phone app: You will eventually scroll to a screen through contacts, recent calls and voicemail messages. It also features a new feature called Hold Assist that will inform you when you come on the phone so you can avoid lift music.

Directly translated: The iOS 26 is bringing the ability to communicate with someone else through a phone call or text message. Direct translation will translate your conversation in real time.

Polls feature: Chat members will be able to produce the pool in the messages app on group messages. When it comes to deciding which restaurants you are meeting this weekend can help prevent unwanted 30+ messages.
