- Samsung has begun starting the first UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Philip 6.

The first one for the Galaxy S24 series (H/T Tarun Watts) is the first one UI 8 beta Blood 3.2GB size and its version is S926BXXU9ZYH3/S926Boxm9Zyh3/S926BXU9CYH3, which depends on the region. This update is coming to the UK and Korean users, but we expect consumers in the United States and India too soon.
This first beta update is only available for the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 ultra -located version, so users with carrier variations will have to wait. The update also comes with the level of security patches on August 1, 2025, so users signing up for beta will be at the latest patch level.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Philip 6 users getting their first UI 8 beta(H/t tarun vats). Samsung announced that these devices will also get beta updates in the US, UK and India, so this update should end Soon in these areas.
In your Galaxy S24 series, you will need to download the Samsung members app, sign in with your Samsung account. If you are in a region, you will see an UI 8 beta program banner on the homepage, which you need to click and complete your registration. Once it is done, you can test an incoming update Settings> Software Update> Download and Install.
